Trying to get the car in the local Chrysler dealership, Jacky Jones Chrysler, proved to be a fruitless effort. (If interested see my review of the dealership) Being from out of town and this being my first trip to the area I had no idea where to take my car. Who do you trust in this situation, let alone your own home town? I found myself in a very frustrating predicament. At the local McDonalds, I sat with my phone trying to find another Chrysler dealer. The closest one was 3 hours away. Great. I approached a gentleman close to my table and inquired about an honest mechanic. He quickly recommended someone and even drove me to the garage. As I approached the garage I was quite hesitant. Several cars sat around in disrepair, there was even the resemblance of a salvage yard next to the building. Ok, how is this going to workout I thought. I followed my guide inside the shop. He introduced me to the mechanic Jason Belcher. He was very nice. I left my car and Jason had it done by noon the next day,And yes it was the fan motor. Needless to say the rest of my time in the area was pleasant, not having to worry about where to get my car fixed. A special thanks to Jason and the stranger for going above and beyond.

The mechanic seemed pretty nice and started to do the work. Then I get a call from the office lady who said some of the lugs had snapped, trying to take the it rims off. Next thing I know the mechanic popped out all twenty of the lugs whether they were broken or not.Then charged me to replace all the lugs with new lug.Nuts. Both of which were not needed. The bill went from $80 for tires to $486 to mount the tires. Replace all the lugs, most which did not need it. And with all new lug nuts which were three times the price of what the lug nuts I had on there already. When I expressed my disgust with the office manager.She said, while why didn't you tell the mechanic?Not to do that. Because when I arrived back at the facility, he had already knocked him all out.I had no idea he was going to do that. Then, when I told her, I saw the receipt for the part, she said, yes. But we need to make 40% profit on the parts we use.

But RADAR Renegade R/T. reviews were good especially for reasonable road noise for the aggressive tread pattern. They were friendly, got them in on the day promised, and installed them promptly, even though they were closing early on that day. Time will tell on the tires and their longevity, but they were quiet on the highway and look great. Honestly, after saving about $800 from the brands I've been looking at, they could fall 25% short, and I'd still be ahead of the game if the turn out to be good otherwise.
