The carry out area is more of the locals area that some reviewers are referring to when they say some folks turn to see who is coming in. It's a little confusing when you come in the wrong entrance as we did. But the staff were friendly and understanding when our out of state credit card wouldn't work. She held our purchase till we came back a few minutes later. Later, We met some friends that are locals there and everyone was extremely nice. We went there 2 more times to watch Hockey and they were very accommodating to our request. The second area is more open with a large dance floor and crazy comfy captains chairs at the bar. Everyone predicted it would take business away from Shades, but that is never going to happen until they figure out what a sports tavern actually is. There is nothing wrong with trivia, but when it takes center stage during prime college football, you are not really a sports tavern.
