Drinks were good and not weak
Shannon w.

We had a great time about 15 of us total. The bathroom was clean. The food my friends had they said was good. The beer I had was 4.00 which is a good price for the area. I also ordered a mixed drink which was good and not weak. I highly recommend for anyone of age. My friends bought their young kids with no problem.

Rock-It Lanes was such a fun spot! We went on a Tuesday when all the arcade games are half off -- total win. They've got a couple bars with frozen drinks and a great selection overall. I was too scared to try the roller skating, but it looked like a blast. Perfect place to hang out on a rainy day without spending much!

Great place to go in PCB with your family. Bowling, roller skating, arcade games, food and drinks! Have a blast in the cool AC, get out of the heat or the rain and spend some quality time making memories. HUGE versions of classic games like Mario Cart, PacMan, Space Invaders and so many more! Most games are $1 a play and you need a swipe card. Yes cash or card to pay.

We visited here twice during our trip out to PCB. The first day was a Monday afternoon with a light , mild crowd. BUT OMG Tuesday was a different beast!! Half off on all games on Tuesdays and it was raining! Of course everyone was looking for some weather friendly entertainment when kids are involved. We had some fun here but redeeming tickets off your uploadable cards was a nightmare. I don't think the staff was prepared for all this action. There is a decent amount of games to play . Bowling and skating are also available. It's loud , wild and crazy but my niece and nephew enjoyed themselves. Just to be clear , arcades are all rips off. The amount of tickets you redeem vs money you load on the card ratio is just off ... a lot!!! The prizes were limited in my opinion.

Fun place! Loved bowling. $4 per game $4 shoe rental from 10-2 Monday-Friday. Lots of arcade games, $50 gets you $64 worth of games. Most games $1 and they have a big room to turn your tickets into prizes. All tickets are loaded to your card for convenience! Unfortunately there were a lot of games out of order:( You have bowling, roller skating, arcade games and even a sports bar all under one roof! I wish we had one where we lived! Must visit when your in the area!!!

Took the kids to bowl last week and they had a blast. Used bumpers so they didn't have gutter balls, and had balls they could easily pick up and bowl with. The arcade was a huge hit as well, and we spent quite some time there too. A great opportunity to get out of the summer heat and have a fun indoor activity. Bowling was about $5 per game per person, and shoes $4.50.

Rock it Lanes would be great if they had better customer service. Had a horrible experience because of the gentleman in the picture. He definitely needs some public relations training.

Bowling on a rained out afternoon. Perfect location! Lots of things to do in one spot. Music was great too! Reasonably priced fun.

Skating rink

Was super excited to have a rink near home! However, I'm not impressed with the rink. I haven't tried the arcade or food, so this review is just for the rink. I'll add more later. The price of the rink is around 10 dollars a person. More than I'm used to paying, but more hours to skate. 1. The floor is really weird and uneven. It's this weird blue flooring with holes and not a smooth wood rink. I constantly feel like I am going to fall. 2. They tape your skates if you have a black toe stopper because of "marks", but there is gum and candy wrappers al over the floor just waiting to cause a painful problem. The floor is dirty and gunk gets into my wheels. 3. Area is large for a nice skate and I have room to move around. I'll be back because this is the only skate area around, but it's kind of expensive and nerve wracking. Upped it a star because of nice employees.

Great little bar in the back, no kids. Yes arcade, bowling, and skating rink. I found $100 in the parking lot once. Haha

Lots of games and space to move around. Great service. Would recommend, especially Tuesday when games are half off.

First visit and we'll definitely be back…read more This was our first time at Shades Bar & Grill, and it was a great experience. We went with a group of seven and everything from the atmosphere to the food made it a really fun night out. The location and vibe are fantastic -- lively but relaxed, the kind of place where you can easily settle in with friends and enjoy a good meal. We started with appetizers for the table: calamari, onion rings, and volcano shrimp. All three disappeared quickly. The calamari was really good and normally comes served over jalapeños, but since I don't eat them the kitchen kindly put them on the side for us. The onion rings were fantastic, and the volcano shrimp had a little heat (which the spice lovers at the table really liked). For dinner I had the hibachi steak over fried rice with yum-yum sauce, cooked medium. It was excellent -- tender, flavorful, and a generous portion. Others in our group ordered the same dish and loved it as well. The chicken nachos were huge (normally an appetizer but easily a full meal) with really tasty queso that had a bit of spice. The burger and flatbreads at the table also got great reviews. We also tried the chocolate dessert bomb at the end (not sure of the exact name), and it was fantastic -- chocolate mousse and cake inside a chocolate shell with whipped cream. Definitely worth sharing. The drinks were great, the service was friendly, and the whole place had a welcoming feel. One thing we really appreciated as well: they offer a military discount, which was a nice touch. We're locals and this was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. Highly recommend if you're in the Panama City Beach / 30A area.

Food was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed the volcano shrimp, shrimp and grits and lobster…read morecheese grill

Wow, great place! We are camped across the street and walked over Friday evening for drinks…read more Despite the inside being packed, we found space at the bar and enjoyed chatting with our stool neighbors about local things to do, places to eat, and so on. Very attentive bartender. I looked up their website and found they have daily specials, and on Sunday it's shrimp and grits. My husband HAD to have it. We ventured over this morning right at 11:00 and sat ourselves at a high top near the bar. Our server Morgan came by promptly. Their version of shrimp and grits is unlike any you have had before. Very rich and mildly spicy cream/cheese sauce with shrimp, grits, spinach, mushrooms, and okra. The sauce was made with smoked gouda. Huge portion but he ate it all. I got a grilled grouper sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Morgan was delightful and talked with us about her career plans. She was covering the entire indoor area during our visit so she was really running. We can hear the music from our campsite, but they pull the plug at 9:00 pm so it's not too noisy late. I did not find any other review for the shrimp and grits so I wanted to be sure to post this and a photo.

We found Patches Pub open late on a Thanksgiving night when most other restaurants were closed…read more The place was packed as this is a popular hangout for locals. The waitstaff was friendly as were the regulars around us. The tasty cheese curds were a good starter and since the table next to us recommended the wings, I was all in. The habanero sauce was not really hot, but it was fine enough for a late night meal. Wifey took on the burger and gave a thumbs up for the choice. Throw in salads for sides and overall was a nice surprise for a dive bar. Parking lot outside is a bit small, but we managed to find a spot near the front. Next time we are in town, we will be coming back when looking for another late night snack or just a place to chat with the locals.
