I stopped by to check out this quaint little cigar bar and enjoy a smoke. The indoor seating is limited, but the place is clean and well-maintained. They also have an outdoor screened patio with comfortable seating. I was interested in trying the sweeter Connecticut "Luke Bryan" cigar; however, they sold me the wrong cigar, which was quite disappointing. I ended up spending $35 on a smoke that I didn't enjoy. When I mentioned to the staff that I had received the wrong cigar, she apologized but did not offer to rectify the situation. Shore Thing Cigars is the best smelling cigar spot I've ever been to. It was clean and was very airy with the large doorways and covered patio. The bar had some local brews on tap. If you come during happy hour, 5-7pm everyday, you can get bottled beer for $3 and wine & draft beer for $5. I like this spot because it feels very beachy and has live music playing in the patio. Probably the cleanest cigar bar I've ever been to. Smells great, athletically pleasing, the airy patio is fantastic! Love the humidor. It's so pretty inside and has a very mild smell, but still utterly delicious. Great music, and as the non smoker, the quick wifi keeps me entertained while my husband sits back and enjoys his cigar. 10/10 would recommend to someone that likes Cigars! Curated selection of cigars in a higher price point. Their house brand was $15 and was really a good cigar. There were multiple places to sit: inside at the bar, inside at chairs, outside in a screened in area, outside at some bistro tables. So not as "meet a new friend and chat in the common smoking area" as many places. We don't drink alcohol, but I think they had liquor. It felt very clean and high end with a black and glittery floor. The only thing I didn't like was the loud country music so I made my boyfriend hurry his cigar so we didn't have to hear it. read more

Great little place. We bring the kids to Seaside every year so the Hub, or now the Big Chill has become a staple. As I've recently got into cigars this worked out perfect. They have an fantastic humidor and selection. I picked up a Paul sample pack ($60) and one of the signature Davidoff LB edition. ($34). Beach and tourist prices but all good, part of the admission. Friendly staff, nice design and room for enjoying a smoke, bar and TVs for the games. Overall great experience. Highly recommend if you like a smoke! read more

This place gets it. In an area filled with tourism that's Mostly family friendly or at least couples centric, Shore Thing provides a place for guys to just be guys. Great cigar selection- impressed by the selection of high end sticks - even 6 or so different Padrons(my fave is the '26 torpedo cut). Fantastic bourbon and beer choices too. Their outdoor screened patio serves as a great place for relaxing or even some interesting and intense sports debates. And, the bartenders are also friendly, knowledgeable and bonus- easy on the eyes. Take it slow - stop by here without the kids and have some much needed rest on your vacation. read more

We're 30A locals and have been here multiple times, always trying to give the place another shot. Great humidor variety, I have to give it to them there hence the couple of stars. They also open late after the hub is done. The main issue is not once did the crew welcome us after the generous tips (30-40%) left behind to see if they remembered us next time, giving up, just not happening. They need some very basic customer service skills to welcome and handle the crowd, I guess they replicate the mgr/supervisor's attitude, he just doesn't get how simple hospitality standards impact the biz. I would assume they could benefit from the local crowd during the slow season, clearly they don't need it. Please learn from the many other 30A local spots where they take the time to know locals who will keep them busy when the one-time customers fade away. read more

very time we are on 30A for vacation, we enjoyed going to Shore Thing Cigars until September 2024. We had 7 couples on vacation with a few that were looking forward to their first time at Shore Thing Cigars. When we got there, only 3 people were there so we picked out some cigars and ordered drinks. The back patio was "closed", however, you could see through the glass door, a patron and one of the owners having a private gambling party. Impressive they had a full dice table set up. As soon as we settled in for a night cap and cigar, the manager cranked up the music so loud we couldn't hear each other. I politely asked if they could turn it down and she said no---go sit outside but I'm not turning it down. SHAME on you for the complete rudeness and disrespect. It is why the establishment was opened for right? You promote a fun and relaxing time. I have never experienced that all the times we have been there but what a crappy first impression for our friends that were looking forward to it. Next time, if you don't want people in there so you can run your gambling room, then just say that you plan on closing early for a "private" event instead of being rude to run them out. I bet Luke would not want his place ran like that. I can tell you that when the previous manager was there, she was always friendly and would have never let that happen but oh well, you all "ran" her out to. SHAME SHAME read more

Was scammed on two cigars totaling $1000! That's right $1000!!!!! I went in to smoke two Davidoffs with my dad and was hosed into purchasing cigars that I had ZERO idea of or was ever told were an insane price. I had zero recourse. The sticks did not even burn well. The prices in the humidor showed 30.00 and 40.00 and I ended up getting hosed. Watch out, this place is shadier than a strip club! read more

The highest quality premium cigars and the staff, which all were quick to provide assistance, know as much or more about the different labels than I do. And the location and environment lends it to having the most diverse clientele than you would expect. Also, there are always locals in the shop that make the non-locals feel right at home. I have never felt more unwelcomed at an establishment. I would NEVER recommend this cigar bar to anyone after my experience tonight. My husband and I wanted to try cigars for the first time on our vacation so we decided on Shore Thing. We went on Monday and we had a great time. We decided to go back tonight since we enjoyed it so much. However, there is one employee of this establishment that will cause me never to go again or recommend their business to anyone. She was INCREDIBLY rude. One of the rudest people I have come across in the restaurant/bar business. She was wearing a black shirt, jeans, had her hair pulled back in a bun, and wore red lipstick. I'm not sure if she is a manager there, but if she is, that is not a good fit. Tonight was evidence that a business can have a great product, but without quality customer service, you will not have patrons return. read more

Bartenders were very sweet and always smiling. They even had phone chargers for guests to use. This was a necessity at this point, as I just walked 3.6 miles to get there, as Lyft and Uber is close to non existent around these parts! I tried for almost 2 hours to get a ride home through the Lyft app- and was unsuccessful. Ended up getting a ride with some strangers who let me get in their Lyft. This is just worth mentioning if you are venturing out to the Hub and wanting to have some drinks and a fun evening. Be prepared to be 'stuck.' Shore Thing was not a bad place to be stuck though.
