When our home had a water incursion event I rang Daniel, about what was a very challenging problem, and within a day he arrived onsite to give me his very professional opinion on options to manage the remediation. Later, as the work proceeded, I rang Daniel to schedule removal of the buckled wood flooring. His guys arrived on time and worked efficiently and rapidly, handling a complicated removal and leaving the site spic and span. I had a tough job to remove a commercial auto garage hydraulic pump from the ground. I needed the job done fast and some other miscellaneous stuff hauled away as well. A two-man crew showed up and had to think creatively on how to do the job. They did it with a smile and a positive attitude and went above and beyond our expectations. I found Shoemaker Demolition on Yelp when I needed my kitchen demolished prior to cabinet installation, and I couldn't be happier with the service and the results. Daniel was so kind and helpful - he made the entire process incredibly easy. He was able to get the demo done in a single day and even trimmed down the bar-height pony wall so we could make the counter one height. The crew carefully protected surfaces in the home from dust and debris and cleaned up before they left. When they hauled away the debris, they were nice enough to take a few closet doors leftover from my ongoing renovation. Daniel worked with me to coordinate with other contractor schedules, and he even suggested another contractor to manage plumbing, electrical, and other needed tasks. He turned out to be great, too. TBH, the demo ended up being the easiest part of this whole process. Despite calling late on Friday, Daniel returned my call the same day and made an appointment to give an estimate Monday morning. I had a rock and concrete water feature built against the house that had to be removed. He looked the job over, described his approach, identified possible problem areas, discussed options, and we set Wednesday as our start date. Daniel and the team arrived on time and went right to it. They jack hammered away until the structure was down and hauled away all the debris. They spared choice rocks at my request and relocated them to my planter for me (not an easy task considering the size and weight of these rocks). Then they raked and leveled the dirt where the fountain was, covered the exposed siding in plastic, and swept the area clean. We hired Daniel to remove all of the sod we had installed over 5 months ago for our dog run. It was 25' by 6' and 6" deep, he also remove a lot of dirt under the sod. It was a dirt job, the sod had not been able to drain because of our hard clay under the sod. Daniel set an appointment to come to our house to review the job and quote the job. He showed up ON TIME, which is rare. He quoted the job we agreed on the price, he scheduled the day, he showed up on time and completed the job. He surprised us because he spent the time to sweep the walkways from our backyard all the way to the street. I would recommend Shoemaker Hauling without hesitation. I have attached a couple of before and after photos. We actually hired him a second time to remove another 5" of dirt from the same area. I had to remove some pavers and concrete, and a few inches of dirt underneath, and called Daniel for help. It was only about 1 cubic yard, maybe 1.5 cubic yards of material and the only dumpster rentals available for dirt/concrete were 10 cubic yards, which I knew there was no way I would come close to filling, so the cost for that much space wasn't justified. Daniel was able to make quick work of the job, and was super friendly on top of it all!
