Just remembering how much the work is at the beginning and near the end of every semester, when students pouring in here to buy and sell their textbooks, was just pure madness. Then again, I have always been able to get my books for cheap; being both Comp. Sci. and Bio major, I go through textbooks like folks go through toilet papers. Every year there's new editions to the book, and every year the textbook on hand became worthless, even the bookstore on campus won't buy them back; but you can pawn them off here, at least for a few bucks to get you some gas money home for the holiday. UBE is a multi-layered, multi-compartment one-stop shop even beside the textbooks; you can get all the craps your professor want you to get for Intro to Arts that you would never use again; you can get your Purple and Gold colors here prior to game days.

On my visit I was looking for a laptop bag that was big enough to also carry my drone case. This way it would be easier to fly with both and not to have to carry the laptop only since the Greenville airport only has the small planes. It's easy to find what you're looking for, even in the clearance section. - The employees were polite and happy to help. - I noticed that their inventory doesn't change; it's always the same popular rock bands, whatever R&B/hip hop artists are hot that year and Harry Potter. I can buy similar licensed products for less at other stores in the same outlet mall. Overall, the base shopping experience was enjoyable, but I'm tired of seeing the same licenses year after year.

when I scheduled an appointment for my daughter, I was asked what our budget was. It was really…read moredisappointing to find out that the very first dress that she put on and fell in love with was $500 more than the max budget. The sleeves were an additional $350. The veil was an additional $350. The shipping was around $100. Alterations were estimated to be between $500-$800. I was offered a VIP package that would include steaming, a garment bag, a reduction in shipping to $80 and a discount on accessories of 10% and the price of that was $175. The total was roughly $2000 above the $3000 budget....... I share this so that you can keep these additional charges in mind as you budget. I encourage you to set boundaries early with your stylist and be clear on an out the door budget. I told them that we wanted to reevaluate the budget and make sure that we could make adjustments in other areas to be able to fit these unexpected costs into the overall budget. And that's when the high-pressure sales started.... We were basically told that if we didn't order the dress right then, that there wouldn't be enough time to receive it before her wedding. That really rubbed me the wrong way and I felt like it was just a sales tactic to close the deal on the same day. We left the store feeling disappointed. I got online to start looking for other shops to make an appointment at and that's when I came across the website called Bridal Closet. I saw that they carried the same designer and reached out to them to ask about their pricing structure for the same dress. I was shocked when the invoice that I received for the dress, veil and sleeves came in $2000 less than the price that Simply Blush quoted. As a consumer, I'm more inclined to pay a higher price at a small owned business when customer service is great but this is a time where I'm thankful that I didn't let emotions lead decision-making. We saved almost $2000 by locating the dress online. Bridal Closet was more transparent and explained that the designer has a $400 tariff charge for all of their dresses. They informed me that the dress was part of the fall 2025 release and would not ship until the end of August. They gave us free expedited shipping, a free garment bag with hanger and I did not have to pay sales tax. I highly encourage you to explore your options before making decisions. I will say that the second star that I gave this rating is because they were easy to schedule with, had a great variety to choose from and the shop was clean and organized well. My daughter had a good experience with the stylist during the fitting.

Extra bonus - this week all fabrics were 30% off. Once we had made our fabric selection, we went to the fabric counter and rang the bell for assistance. An employee was there in a few minutes and was very pleasant and professional as he grabbed the roll of upholstery fabric and measured off the yards of fabric we wanted. While filling out the sales ticket, he reviewed the regular and discounted prices with us, plus filled out a separate paper for us with the fabric name and product number. He also gave us his name and told us if we ever needed more of the fabric he would be happy to order it for us if it wasn't in stock. Very impressed with this level of service.
