when I scheduled an appointment for my daughter, I was asked what our budget was. It was really disappointing to find out that the very first dress that she put on and fell in love with was $500 more than the max budget. The sleeves were an additional $350. The veil was an additional $350. The shipping was around $100. Alterations were estimated to be between $500-$800. I was offered a VIP package that would include steaming, a garment bag, a reduction in shipping to $80 and a discount on accessories of 10% and the price of that was $175. The total was roughly $2000 above the $3000 budget....... I share this so that you can keep these additional charges in mind as you budget. I encourage you to set boundaries early with your stylist and be clear on an out the door budget. I told them that we wanted to reevaluate the budget and make sure that we could make adjustments in other areas to be able to fit these unexpected costs into the overall budget. And that's when the high-pressure sales started.... We were basically told that if we didn't order the dress right then, that there wouldn't be enough time to receive it before her wedding. That really rubbed me the wrong way and I felt like it was just a sales tactic to close the deal on the same day. We left the store feeling disappointed. I got online to start looking for other shops to make an appointment at and that's when I came across the website called Bridal Closet. I saw that they carried the same designer and reached out to them to ask about their pricing structure for the same dress. I was shocked when the invoice that I received for the dress, veil and sleeves came in $2000 less than the price that Simply Blush quoted. As a consumer, I'm more inclined to pay a higher price at a small owned business when customer service is great but this is a time where I'm thankful that I didn't let emotions lead decision-making. We saved almost $2000 by locating the dress online. Bridal Closet was more transparent and explained that the designer has a $400 tariff charge for all of their dresses. They informed me that the dress was part of the fall 2025 release and would not ship until the end of August. They gave us free expedited shipping, a free garment bag with hanger and I did not have to pay sales tax. I highly encourage you to explore your options before making decisions. I will say that the second star that I gave this rating is because they were easy to schedule with, had a great variety to choose from and the shop was clean and organized well. The dresses were beautiful, the staff was helpful...BUT I would never do business here again or refer anyone here. We understood that the gown was being ordered. What they don't tell you is that everything is special ordered. My daughter had chosen a veil they grabbed from a rack and we were not made aware it would also be a special order, so when she changed her mind we were not able to refuse it or return it. I find it ridiculous that they don't allow you to change your mind after you leave the store, especially for something that is not custom like the veil. Buyer beware! read more

Went here with my sister as she was wedding dress shopping. The staff was very nice. We were welcomed warmly by the owner Amy and got to chat with her some as my sister tried on dresses. My sister worked with Gaby as her stylist and had a great experience! Gaby was attentive to what my sister liked or disliked about each dress she tried on and made sure my sister found the one. Katie assisted Gaby and also made sure my mom and I were welcomed and comfortable as my sister tried on dresses. My youngest daughter and I went with my engaged daughter for her first time shopping for a wedding gown. This store is absolutely adorable when you walk in and everyone is so welcoming. Gaby was the consultant with Ella assisting. Gaby did an amazing job of pulling dresses that looked gorgeous and that my daughter loved. She was very patient and had great styling advice. It only took about an hour and my daughter found "the dress"! We were all so excited. We took pics with the "I said YES at Simply Blush"sign in front of a gorgeous greenery and floral wall. I can't recommend a better bridal shop. I shopped with my 2 DILs when they were looking and they had beautiful gowns but the shops didn't have as many options as Simply Blush. What a fabulous little bridal shop! I went with my friend who recently got engaged to start the dress shopping process. She went to a bridal show not long before our visit and received some special deals from the bridal show for this shop and decided to visit here for her first time trying on dresses. I was lucky enough to be invited to come along. She made an appointment and we were paired with one of the lovely ladies that work there. Firstly, the shop is unbelievably cute, quaint, and decorated perfectly. Not too much, but just enough cuteness and flair. Easy to find and plenty of street parking right around the shop itself. My friend was a little apprehensive and nervous about trying on dresses, but she didn't come with the idea that she would find her dress she just wanted to start the process. They were all so helpful and made my friend feel more comfortable and loosen up. The staff is very attentive and great at their jobs. They were supportive and gave you encouragement without being pushy. I actually really enjoyed myself (partly because it wasn't me trying on dresses) and my friend did too. She picked out about 5-6 dresses and then they wouldn't let her pick anymore as to not get overwhelmed. They also encouraged her to step out of her comfort-zone which was great for both of us. Did I mention they're great at their jobs?! Once my friend was starting to really see herself in a dress (a dress she would normally never wear and was completely out of her comfort zone, but an amazing dress) they pulled their male "groom" mannequin over to the mirrors to give her the full picture. My friend loves Beyonce and they played some Beyonce to really get her in the zone. Well she chose her dress and we both cried! It was an amazing experience for both of us and I HIGHLY recommend visiting this shop if you're looking for bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, or even just a dress for a special occasion! read more

Terrible service and I would never recommend this shop! After they incorrectly measured my daughter and then body shamed her for supposedly gaining weight they ordered the wrong size twice! Said they would make it right and work with us, which they did not! ALso paid for the Blush package which was not done and refused to refund any part of what we paid. Owners and staff lie and are the worst! Go to David's Bridal where you can find a beautiful dress and half the price and hassle!! read more

I booked an appointment with Simply Brush Bridal, and wasn't able to get through to speak with an employee until the morning of my appointment. When I called to validate that Simply Blush carried the inventory that I was hoping to try on, they let me know that they did not, so I cancelled my appointment. I then noticed that I was charged the $50. When I requested an exception, given that I wasn't able to get through to anyone, they told me that there are no exceptions. This came straight from the owners Amy and Tracy. I was disappointed by their lack of understanding and the tone they used to conduct the conversation. read more

They have something for EVERYONE here. This was my second time trying on gowns and I was thoroughly impressed with this shop as opposed to David's Bridal. It is locally owned and the ladies who work there make you feel like a million bucks. I filled out a short survey before I came to give them an idea of my style/size/requests. Tracy was thorough and asked lots of questions to make sure I was happy and she was VERY respectful of my budget and didn't try to push it like the other experience I had.
