I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. I brought in two belts to be repaired and the workmanship was absolutely terrible. The stitching was uneven, the finishing looked rushed, and both belts came back looking worse than when I dropped them off. It honestly felt careless and unprofessional. What made it even worse was how I was treated when I went back to discuss it. Instead of listening or trying to make it right, they were extremely rude and actually raised their voice and screamed at me in the store. I was shocked at the complete lack of basic customer respect and accountability. Poor quality work is one thing -- it happens -- but hostile, aggressive customer service is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else if you value your belongings and expect to be treated with courtesy. read more

Overpriced and greedy and quick to price gouge customers. You can do better. I was about ready to go to my car and bring him about $300 worth of shoe repair work but while I was passing his door I figured let me first quickly go inside and ask him to punch one hole in my belt. If you think about the amount of time it takes an effort quiet put a belt underneath a hole puncher and just bang out one hole it's maybe 5 seconds. The Chinese dude wanted to charge me $2 per hole for 4 or 5 seconds worth of work. It's the principle. Doesn't matter if I have money to burn the fact that he can look you straight in the yard and charge you $2 for something that takes in 3 seconds to do speaks volumes about this business. You can do a lot better people don't let this guy burn a hole in your pocket just cuz he can. read more

I rarely write reviews, but the bad service and terrible workmanship at this place compelled me to. I had them add a new wheel to a suitcase (for $48!) and the first time I used it, the wheel fell off. I brought it back after their one month warranty, and they refused to stand behind their work. I have used them a few times, always overcharged. The last time I took a pair of boots in for repair they fell apart the first time I wore them! I took them back and he refused to repair them, said he had not fixed that part? He was extremely rude as well. I would caution anyone against going to this place for anything! read more

What an honest person. I had she's that I didn't know if it was worth repairing. It had a squeaky noise when I walked . He tried few things ( which I saw recommended on line too) but nothing worked. He told me don't waste your money it will stay the same. I think it is my new favorite shoe repair place!!!! Prices are very respectable. I already fixed one pair of shoes there. My opinion: I used Shoe Repair Plus for years for repairing my high heels. But lately the quality has declined. My last repair only lasted one day. When I went in with a different pair, the customer in front of me had the same story - her repair only lasted one day. The owner was not very friendly at all to that lady and seemed to not care so I decided to leave and will never be back. Sad to see that thing place has such a low review because I've been using this establishment for a while now and I've never had an complications or issues. The owner is pleasant and he'll quote things at a very reasonable price with a quick turn around time. He's fixed and adjusted a handful of expensive designer items for us for nickels on a dollar. His work is impeccable and you would have thought the designer did the work themselves. My pickiest client told me about this place and I'm forever grateful for her referral because we now come all the time! read more

This company changed hands, and unfortunately they are not capable and have very poor customer service, not taking responsibility with the typical defensiveness and entitlement from this new generation of workers and management. I walked in and asked a question about a pair of shoes, and he came back with a ridiculous amount of money for the small work that needed to be done. He kept telling me that those are the prices that the boss gave him. When I asked him if he could get them done today, he told me that could but was going to charge me another 10 or $15. He was rude and you could tell he could kill last for my business so I took my shoes and left. read more

Almost half the price of the alterations place a couple doors down. The job my wife had done wasn't exactly done perfect but it wasn't that simple either. I would say for basic things they are a no brainer. If it's not basic I might try the other place, but very nice people and very accommodating. read more

I've been using this shoe repair since it's inception, but sadly, haven't in a number of years. I have a graduation to attend and felt it best not to try to "break in" a new pair of shoes on same day of said graduation so, I took a pair of low heels that I love, that are comfortable, yet had worn down and scuffed the heels pretty noticeably to my trusty shoe repair. I'm not entirely sure if these are original owners, but I DO know that the alteration/seamstress is new, but plan on using her services,as well. I dropped off my shoes and quoted a very reasonable price for new heels (rubber) and told even the scuff marks would be repaired as well. You DO have to pay in advance. I gather many forget or never return to claim their items, which I personally wouldn't do, but this is their policy. I picked them up a few days later than when they were actually promised as I try to coordinate my errands as to not waste time or gas. To say I was overjoyed is an understatement. My shoes look completely brand new and yet, slipping them on had that comfy feeling I remember oh so well! I will definitely be returning to bring some other shoes that I don't wish to part with for this very reason as it saves on purchasing more unnecessary shoes to have to break in when I already love the style, design and comfort of ones I already own. I know there's really no reason to have an excuse for a woman (or man) for that matter, to get new shoes, but now I know where I can go for my heels, soles and scuff marks to be replaced at a very reasonable cost and timely return. This is an amazing shoe repair. They do excellent work and alterations too. I brought in shoes that were really in bad shape and they made them like new. The alterations lady is fantastic and she is reasonable and this is a great store to go to. Try them you will be a customer for life. read more

Although they do excellent work, he lost a pair of my Ferragamo shoes and gave me someone else's old ratty Skechers sandal that was 2 sizes too big for me. He yelled at me that the sandal fell in my bag of shoes by accident but he couldn't find my shoes! Then he yelled at me to leave! I dropped off 6 1/2 pairs and left with 5 1/2 pairs. He has no records and doesn't keep his handwritten receipts which he can't even decipher when you pick up your shoes. Instead of apologizing for losing my shoes or trying to find them, he yells and makes you feel like it's your fault. Stay far away. They just lost me and 5 of my friends who go there as customers. read more
