I had initially brought them to Gucci and had them sent out and upon them returning them to me, they were still broken. Gucci told me they couldn't be repaired and they could give me store credit. I love these boots and wanted them repaired. I brought them into Michael and he suggested replacing the entire zipper. I was obviously a little nervous but I am SOOOO happy I had Michael do the repair. He replaced the entire zipper and was able to put the original Gucci tab onto the new zipper. You literally can not tell there were any repairs or changes made to the boots. Plus he even polished them!! I will definitely be bringing all my high-end shoes and boots to him!!!!

He came home from the office, settled into the chair across from me, crossed his legs--and suddenly his shoes began telling their story. The soles were practically crying for mercy, while the uppers looked like they had been through a long, hard negotiation with the sidewalk. He mentioned he'd been meaning to go shoe shopping, but hated the thought of giving up the comfort he'd earned breaking these shoes in. That's when I reminded him about Augie's Shoe Repair--the place that brought two pairs of my own "beyond saving" shoes back from the brink. Super wife to the rescue. True to form, Augie worked his magic again. The shoes came back looking remarkably close to brand new. Of course, the soles and heels were replaced as requested, but he didn't stop there. More than once, I thought the shoes would have to be thrown away as garbage, and this place managed to fix it. They're also relatively inexpensive considering that your shoes are repaired so well (again, in some cases, the shoes are literally saved from being thrown in trash).
