Very bad service. Purchase shoes and the it went through but they had something wrong with Their computer, THEIR error not my bank. Said to call District Manager Kenny Perreira at 407-496-5460. Called left a message never returned call. Called Corporate and was advised to contact Cindy in Finance at ar@shoeplace.com, and was not a deliverable address. Asked for a number but they would not provide a number to speak to anyone in Corporate. They told me to go to my bank and dispute the charges that they charged me with and went through but their system did not show it. Beware dealing with this company. Went to the Shoe Palace in Collins Ave, Miami. We were looking to buy a few t-shirts and as we were making a decision we were chased out of the store by an employee who complained we were messing up his display while we were looking at the products. I walked into Shoe Palace in Westland Mall. There were 2 male employees and one female. The 3 employees saw me walk in but did not acknowledge me at any time. The 2 male employees were talking really loud about something personal. At one point one them even used the F word even though there were 3 customers in the store. Beware with returns! Me and my friend went to return shoes that she had bought yesterday because the right shoe did not fit her correctly which was an innocent mistake on her part for not trying on both shoes at the store (it was her first pair of sneakers shoes). She told me to go return the shoes with her but I had no idea what the issue with the shoe were to begin with because she did not explain to me the problem before hand. I just believed it didn't fit her how she wanted and that was that. I believed it was going to be quick and easy since returning things should not be difficult (she had the receipt and all). She mentioned she doesn't mind switching them out or even getting store credit, she understood that workers make commission and customer service is difficult since me and her both have worked many years in that service. The manager takes them out and right at the moment you could tell the measurements of the shoes were not correct (the right shoe was smaller than the left) he even went to check the tag to see if they were different sizes (and completely dismissed it). After, he went to look over at the bottom of the shoes that were not incredibly dirty and mentions how he can't take them back because he can't resell them because they were dirty although they were just bought yesterday and it was a quick clean and before we leave the first time says "take the shoes sole to make them fit better". We left quickly to clean the shoes and the marks came out quickly with just water, simple soap, and a piece of paper. We went back and we mentioned how there was a manufacturing error since the both pair of shoes were not the same size again telling him this, which was right in-front of his face and had told us to "prove it to him" and I told her to go and prove it to him, since he wanted to make the situation more difficult. As she tries it on her right toe is literally right at the tip while her left shoe still has a comfortable amount of space. He literally touched the shoe placement and still had the audacity to say "Maybe it's because you have a bigger foot" and I had to step in and tell him "No I literally have the same pair of shoes on right now (which I honestly did) and my shoes do not do that measurement." He was becoming extremely difficult for no reason just for us not to get us a return. As he is still trying to knit pick something he takes out a liquid that literally cleans white shoes that he mentioned earlier he wouldn't be able to clean them and resell. Just for him to see if the shoe had anything else he could knit pick for us not get a return. And the finial cherry on top mentions since she paid debit he would have to pay her in cash. Which once again I won't get very upset because it could be there system but it was not an old technology and I myself have done returns, they are very simple for debit cards but once again who knows? The only good thing I could say is that one of the female employees were kind. At the end of this review just in conclusion, be very cautious of this store! read more

The employees had great energy and were very helpful but I disliked the music that was playing. The music was cursing a lot saying very inappropriate things that shouldn't be said in a work environment. I was in there with my dad and it was just weird and awkward for me. I know the people listen to that music but i just think it shouldn't be played at a store where there could be kids and parents, it was very unprofessional they should know better than that. read more

Just left shoe palace trying to get the new release that they told me they will be doing after 12 first come first serve so I was waitin from 10:30 and didn't get nothing cause they then switched it to raffling which is bull crap on how they lied to me and serval other customers. Most unfair sneaker release for Jordans ever. People waited in line and I was here early and they gave pairs to people that came late. Absolutely ridiculous. It was a first come first serve basis after 12. Also the manager said that if you have a pair you can not get another one yet he gave 2 pairs to people who already won. I went yesterday to this establishment. As a hard working Black American consumer, I was not treated with good service or courtesy. Management was not professional and she left me standing after I ask for a simple price for a shirt. She tried I guess to show ego/management authority by telling other employees to carry out work. Blacks spend plenty of money in our economy 1trillion annually, my people of color spend in businesses in which show no respect to us. I waited, cashier ignored me and my request and just threw shirt to the side. I walked out and returned for the businesses card. Manager said they had none. But she knew I wanted it to call cooperate. Will be posting to IG. Black minority do not spend black dollars in this place until they understand our faces create liquidity as well. read more

Careful if you want to make a return. I came to return shoes that were clearly off with sizing (one seemed a whole half inch off probably manufactured wrong). I bought them, noticed the sizing and came to return the following day. However, the manager at this location made it nearly impossible. I had to come into the store twice. He made me try on the shoes "to show him" he insulted me by saying "maybe you have one foot bigger than the other" and even told me he can't return these shoes and "to just take off the sole to make the other one fit better." At the end he did make the return but told me "he can only do it cash" and gave me all the .84 cents in nickels.. I was embarrassed and frustrated. I work at retail myself and know very well that he could damn right return my money to my debit card, he had to return my shoe especially since I bought it the following day, and didn't have to make it so hard on me to make a simple return. So please me cautious about purchasing shoes at this location.. they have three stars for a reason. Management here is HORRIBLE. read more
