I don't know anyone who loves trying on jeans; I certainly don't. I've never bought any expensive…read moredenim until today, when I visited Madewell for the first time. They recently opened at Breton Village and I was hesitant to go in at first because I'm not a fashion blogger or Instagram model. My fears disappeared when I walked in and Olivia welcomed me right away. She asked if I needed any help and I told her yes -- I was looking for jeans but didn't know where to start. I wasn't sure of my size, but I told her a size I've worn in the past and she pulled some pairs for me. She gave me the rundown of their jeans collection and asked what styles I was looking for. I tried on three different pairs of jeans and the third was perfect. These are not Old Navy jeans that are $30 that pill and fall apart after a few washes. They are a quality product from a quality company. They are expensive, at least for me. We're talking $100+ per pair, so be ready to spend some money. I was happy to do so, knowing that Madewell is a company with great ethics, sustainable business practices, and one that works with organizations that support causes that I believe in. If you bring in an old pair of jeans to be recycled through their program with Habitat for Humanity, you can get $20 off a new pair of Madewell jeans. Win win! My experience at Madewell was great and I was so glad Olivia was so kind and helpful. She told me that she really enjoys helping people find something that makes them look and feel good, and I could really tell that was true. She made what is normally a painful process painless for me! She also told me about their return policies and their free hemming service. I'm already looking forward to going back to check out some other clothing!

When I called to cancel the shipment of the last item, due to it will not be shipping until July 18th (according to my order history now) which I won't need this item then, they told me they can't cancel the item. He said when I placed the order it was on backorder, which it wasn't. The Irony is I can place an order for this same item today, and it still doesn't show it is on backorder, but yet the item won't ship until July 18th? They have charged me for this item, I don't want it, and it hasn't shipped but they won't cancel it. I have to wait until I receive the item and ship it back (free of charge of course) before I can get my money back. This is poor business practice and very poor customer service. They are reaping the benefits of revenue gained, which is helping them month to month, without providing the consumer with the product. I won't buy from them again.

I bought a new decline bench today and realized that although I had been here a dozen times over the last several years, I've never written a review. Great selection for the size of the store. I've checked out some of the big stores (such as Dick's, etc.) from time to time, but I keep coming back here due to the superior selection and service.

He helped me with the selections to choose from and offered other's from the catalog. From our short conversation he learned about my mom, was delicate of the situation, offered to clean my wedding ring, did not pressure me at all and was so understanding. He even started the process of getting two bracelets of my mother's fixed that I had found broken. I wanted to look at other stores due to the nature of the importance of this locket before purchasing from his store. I walked to the 3 neighboring jewelers and was floored that not a single person greeted me or even offered help, my niece and I found our way to the lockets in each store and the selections were sad to choose from. At that point, I knew in my heart that the first locket here at Rogers and Holland was what my heart was drawing to. I came back, was completely sold on it and was really happy considering the situation. At the checkout, he touched my heart, it was a certain price, (I honestly didn't care how much it was, I would have paid whatever) and he put the warranty with it told me the total and then he told me what he was charging me. I teared up by his gesture... nothing will bring my mom back, but after all I've been through recently, this was extremely kind and utterly unexpected. I am a loyal customer and after my experience today will shop here again in the future and share this phenomenal experience. Kudos to you Mitch and your staff for everything you've done for me. I personally don't shop a lot at the jewelry store, but guaranteed will be sending my husband and son your way!

It's 8:45pm, we just checked into the hotel, and we're calling around for someone who has volleyball shoes in stock. These shoes aren't something you just go to Meijer or Wal Mart to purchase. Dick's Sporting Goods and Dunham's couldn't help us out. Thankfully we called Johnny Mac's! Not only did they have a variety of volleyball shoes for us to choose from, they stayed open 20 minutes past their closing time to take care of us and help us out of this bind. Their service was to notch! We weren't rushed to get out of there, Jeff and Hannah took the time to make sure we got EXACTLY what we needed and were well informed about what we were purchasing. Great people, great selection, great store! They've only been open for two weeks, they deserve your business, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. Tell them the volleyball family from Shelby Township sent ya!
