I never bought Skechers before and wandered through the Women's section three times, completely unsure exactly what I should purchase. I have planters fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended a few shoe brands and Skechers was one of them. I knew I needed a shoe that would allow me to put in a custom orthotic and it had to be a structurally sound shoe (not bend easy without the orthotic) but I did not want to go through aisles of shoes to find those two qualities. Plus I needed a wide width shoe. Argh. Some shoes were priced a lot lower than what I am used to paying for shoes so I just got nervous too. I really could have used assistance from a sales person. I couldn't tell if one worked there or if he happened to be the son of an elderly customer. I decided to leave and go to a Runner's store as I knew that at least somebody would be there to answer questions.
