I checked out their women's shoes to see if there's anything that tickles my fancy. While I found a few slip ons which would have been excellent for the coming summer months, they did not have any on my size. There were 3 different pairs I considered but no 6.5. I finally went to check out and the lady told me that the shoes are buy one, get one half off. No one told me while I was perusing. She held the pair I was getting for my husband while I checked if there's any I would like to get for half off. I found a pair of Nikes that seemed like they would be cute with dresses. I went with those. They weren't on sale but fairly affordable at less than $80 for the pair. Not to mention the buy one, get one half off sale. Overall, it was a good visit with new shoes for my husband and a surprise pair for me!

I thought this would be a hassle but To journeys corporate-here is a good review of your galleria store. I am a crabby 45 year old dentist. Exchanging shoes on a Friday night w my kids is not something I was looking forward to. Instead-it was quick and easy and here is what a customer wants to see when he turns the corner in to your store- a smiling employee standing on station (just inside store) waiting to receive customers-making eye contact, being personable and well spoken- that is exactly what quortney did(sorry I prob goofed name but prob 28 year old African American w piercings) I was crabby going in but she made it impossible to stay that way, made the exchange very quick and easy and no hassle. She engaged my kids and talked about music and about t shirts in store which we ended up buying two of. The store was clean and nobody was texting on their phone or doing anything other than engaging customers or cleaning the store while we were in there. I did not receive any compensation or even tell them I would write this but as a business owner-I appreciate employees doing what you train and hope for-giving positive customer experiences bc it is hard to find good people these days. Give your galleria store kudos, lunch or a bonus because they represent your brand well Again-I only wrote this bc I was impressed-they didn't do or give me anything- Chris Parks

I think the value of going in store is picking up a variety of shoes that are not going to get to you as quickly as through Amazon and being able to try them on in person. I guess I am a creature of habit. I like that they keep my record of purchases in the computer. So when it time to buy a new pair of shoes, I just enter the store and tell them my name. They have me try the shoes on, to make sure I am still satisfied with the fit. In addition to the pair of shoes, I always add a pair of therapeutic cushion inserts.
