We moved out of the area and now I'm back buying shoes for myself. Ralph and Ashley are both great and very accommodating fitting me with comfortable shoes. The store is like a shoe wonderland, and it reminds me of an updated version of the shoe stores I used to go to 60 years ago. The gentleman that I spoke with was great to chat with, and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of shoes and the shoe industry. Although I was there to drop off two pair of shoes for repair, I intend on returning to purchase a pair of dress shoes...even though the same shoes can be purchased online at a cheaper price. What I won't get online is the outstanding customer service, proper fit, experience, and peace of mind that comes from buying from such a well run business like Moyer's. I think the community is fortunate to have a business like Moyer's, and I whole heartedly recommend its patronage.

I was there with a friend who was trying on boots and several boxes were mismatched with sizes AND colors. I mentioned this to the man who said that some shoes look different because of the type of leather and that those boots were to be together... we continued to search for matching boot sizes. the man stood there as if he was a stoned statue. While purchasing, the woman said nothing when I mentioned that we left the boxes out that were mismatched. I'm not sure but either this was a case of ageism ( we are older people) mutism, or just typical Americans lacking etiquette. I will never go there again.

The one groomsmen didn't get shoes, was told they weren't included, the father of the brides shirt was stained when I commented that we had to run back up morning of the wedding and get a pair of shoes so that they all matched for the pictures and that the father of the bride had to go out and buy a new shirt. The owner said sorry for the inconvenience, they should have checked the shirt before they left- shouldn't the staff be checking their items before handing them out and if something is stained shouldn't they be getting rid of it? for over $200 per suit I would expect a little better Service and a better quality of tuxedos.

You can still pay with cash where there is a cashier, but at times you are going to wait for people with full shopping carts of grocery...they say because of a "coin shortage".... okay maybe, but then just install a coin machine for people to cash in their change and they will get coins that way and also at all times keep a few self checkouts for cash purchases, but DO NOT shut them all down for cash payments!
