Very unhappy with the disrespect and poor customer service from Kaycee. She was extremely rude to me.

For a small, Elmhurst (near the train), independently owned business, Enzee is pretty spectacular,…read moreespecially during the twice annual, end of season sale! Sale merchandise is then 50% off red-lined sale prices for some great pieces, all around 70% off of the original price, most of which are fair to fabulous. Fantastic for handmade items, brands such as THML clothing, luxurious Bench winter accessories, Femme tanks, Shiraleah gloves, fun Big Buddha bags, and a lot more. A royal blue tank that was originally $24, was $5 after the sale, the black tank, $11.00. For $132, I have a shopping bag full of quality items that will last and last. If we continue to have seasonable winters, even longer. So many tempting things, and much of it is on sale. I could have easily bought several shopping bags loaded with stuff. I peeked at the first Spring items already in. Good solid prices, stylish and wearable. Enzee is a great place to shop for gifts, especially if the person you're buying for appreciates things that are different than the normal brands at department and larger stores. I've never seen anything I've bought at Enzee at any other store except, Deer Fina, which has (sadly) closed.

Their jewelry is one-of-a-kind in a contemporary/classic way. The staff is extremely pleasant, and the merchandise is delightful. I'm particularly fond of the earrings on display here. The clothes on display are quite appealing too. I went to Enzee last week because I had a wardrobe emergency. Thankfully, they had exactly what I needed, as well as a plethora of other fantastic items! Over the last few years, I've acquired my favorite pair of chandelier earrings, as well as a slew of other trendy earrings and some cute clothing. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely return here again and again. Also, if you're looking to mix up your wardrobe and buy gifts for someone, I will highly recommend this location!

The Uptown Shop - The "new" Lanzi's purchased in Jan 2026. Pretty darn close to the original & still delicious :D.

What's nice is the jewelry they sell is good quality, with some sterling silver, yet they're not in competition with Cottage Hill Diamonds next door, for that ultra in serious bling! I know some shoppers are sick and tired of the trail of Vera Bradley...but I must say the store is filled with so much of other delights, there's no reason to have to resort to looking at the VB stuff. No reason whatsoever. They have some Eucalyptus Spa booties I need to come back for asap!

Back in the 70's & 80's, my parents always used to buy these & we loved them! Then suddenly, they just disappeared from store shelves. Well, many years later, Lanzi's is BACK!!!! You can order them from the Uptown Shop. I just got a box in the mail. Flavor-wise it's REALLY CLOSE to the original (they had to reverse-engineer it because the recipe was lost after Elmo Lanzi passed on & production of the candy stopped). But man, it is pretty darn close & still tastes DELICIOUS!!!!

However, don't let that price tag deter you from checking out redE - seems they have clothes to fit every budget. Sifting through the racks, I came across many beautifully-cut pieces. The boutique carries clothing by some fabulous designers, including Theory, Black Halo, Hale Bob and my favorite dress designer, Alice + Olivia (see above reference to $600 dress). The sales associate was friendly and helpful, though left me to my own devices when I said I was just browsing (read: oohing and ahhing over everything!). Maybe, just maybe, I'll treat myself to that dress for my birthday ;)

All of the women there have been excellent- first rate. Sooo- I stop in today- as I usually do- and I noticed a woman I had never seen before. I noticed right off the bat that her energy was sharp toward me- and that's okay. I'm in sales- I understand that not everyone likes everyone. So- I see a sweater I like and decide to try it on. I hear her voice from behind the curtain-"I think you would be more suited to a "woman's cut " hmmmm. Now, understand none of this is solicited in any way. To which I follow with-"what does that mean?" And here's the best part- she says "you know - for women north of fifty". To which I swung the curtain open and asked - "what did you just say to me?" Because I needed to hear if hats what she actually said. Yes. She actually did say that. I don't think I need any follow up- because ,well- I guess being insulted just isn't my bag. I can go hang out on the west side if I need uneducated rude unsolicited advice. Thanks anyhow.

I've been looking for a chess piece that says, "damn that guy must really play chess."…read more I'm not great at chess, but I figure if someone sees this magnificent chess board I recently bought, they wouldn't even ask to play because they're so scared of being beaten to a chessy pulp. Came in to this store while wandering around Elmhurst and left with a really big and cool wooden chess box. They have some amazing sets - and the owners were super helpful showing me around.
