The store is not large, but it has the basics of what I enjoy about the brand. I have picked up two pair of new kicks from this location over the past few years...my office is right around the corner, so when I am trying to delay hitting the highway due to traffic, I sometimes swing by and that can be dangerous. Service is always solid. I have gotten great service in store, and as well when I called in to see if they had a particular style/size. Overall, not the largest variety, but enough of the classics for this to be solid spot to swing by for a good pair of shoes!

He walked me through the fitting process, made sure I understood my options, and even checked nearby stores for additional sizes. The store itself was clean, organized, and had a relaxed, no-pressure vibe. It was midday on a Monday with steady traffic but nothing overwhelming. Fleet Feet's focus on fit and comfort really came through in the way Andrew handled everything. I walked out with a great pair of shoes and felt totally confident in the choice. However the employees refused to service me at all because the pants I had purchased were on sale. I can understand preventing a return, but not even allowing an exchange? Doesn't make sense, other than the "power high" some ppl get by treating customers poorly. I actually like the employees here, they have ALWAYS helped me out with whatever issue I have had, I don't know what has changed but I really hope this was a one-off incident. (If this is really their official policy, then I would advise not buying any sale items unless you purchase them in-store, and try them on.)

The store is well laid out, bright, clean and well stocked with a decent selection of all of your gap favorites...and that is where the good stops. Staff was present, but did not interact, welcome or assist anyone in the store. They were behind the register talking to each other while they had a store full of folks. The one associate on the floor was folding clothes, but had his cart and ladder blocking a main aisle, and got a tad snappy when multiple people said excuse me and one guest moved the ladder as it was very clearly in the way. Additionally, the store seemed a mess with lots of shelves and racks needing attention. We browsed and scoped a few pieces, but the experience was under and overwhelming at the same time. Gap is an outlet staple, so to see this one starting off at Tanger like this is not the best of signs. Hopefully they can get it together a bit, especially before the holidays roll in.

I had not been successful in finding these at multiple stores I went to, or I should say I did find them but for some reason they're shaped for men with really really odd heels and it took 3 sizes smaller than usual to come close to conforming to my feet's demands. Upon entering a representative came up to me and asked what I was looking for, I said X, he said he had never heard of X, I pointed at the shoe directly behind him that the wife was holding that said X on the box. He said oh. No biggie as I had not staked my life on a random shoe salesman's abilities to know brands. Purchase went as purchases do, it was a shoestore, prices were ~20% less than supposed average, I got my old man / preppy shoes and can now slack in peace.
