It's true there were other places you could find Lucky jeans, but having the store is so much better for a few reasons. Firstly, the selection here is much bigger, and if you're short like me, this matters a lot. They have the whole range of sizes in short length. It really bugs me when I have to buy jeans and then pay for them to shorten them and move the hem up. It's possible to have them look like the jeans you bought, but it's an expensive way of doing things. So I would rather go here and buy jeans in the right length, even though I might pay a little more, it's worth it to buy them and be able to wear them the same day. It actually ends up costing about the same in the end too. Secondly, I love wearing jeans, but I HATE the process of buying them. I can never find the right size and I can never judge how much they are going to grow when I wear them and I end up buying them too big. The salespeople here are so patient and they know what they're doing. They'll look at you, take you to the changing rooms and keep bringing you jeans until you find the right ones. They'll also make sure you buy the right size. It takes all the stress out of buying jeans. I bought some about a year and a half ago and wore them practically every day and they held up really well. I could do with another pair and I'll definitely go back and shop here.

Im walking around collecting the items that are speaking to me and I'm starting to accumulate an arm full, I'm still able to mange the load even after having knee surgery one week ago today. When a guy comes up and asked if I'd like to put the items at the register, I politely tell him that I'd like to try these items on. He's tone changed as he informed me that I'd only be able to try on 2 items at a time, my toned changed as I told him that maybe I will only buy 1-2 items at a time. He asked me to leave. I told him that I would never return. Customer service will the the death of a many brick and mortar stores!!! He helped me get the sizes I needed and seemed to genuinely want to help me. He didn't mind when I couldn't decide what size I wanted and when I asked that they hold multiple sizes for me. Their t-shirts have "frockets" and I'm not a fan of those - Drew found me two shirts without a frocket when I couldn't find them myself. Checkout was a breeze and they insisted on folding my clothes. Overall, there are some pretty nice items in the store. But, the prices are very high, some of the clothing is unrealistically "preppy," and the overall feel of the store is very stuffy. I'm giving them 4 stars due to Drew's awesome customer service, the awesome sports shirt I found and the nice couple of polos I got (despite the fact that most of them are way too pastely). We came to Opry Mills to hit a few outlet stores in hoping of finding a few casual pieces such as slacks and button-ups, and we found both at J.Crew. For all the craziness that is right outside of their doors, this J.Crew keeps a sense of calm in their store with well stocked shelves, organized and presentable clothes, little to no clutter combined with a clean store as a whole. The staff were also helpful, but not obtrusive or overbearing. I encountered them on the sales floor and at the register, both times were great. Overall, we found what we were after and would happily swing by this J.Crew again in the future!

The first time I came I was looking at some camel hair (I think) leopard print shoes, and she was happy to check pricing for me since they were on clearance. Unfortunately the shoes didn't work for me, but ... man I wish I had her name. She was so kind and helpful and really seemed like she enjoys working there! Today I came back with a couple pair (I bought 3 different sizes) of moccasins for my husbands' Christmas which he LOVEDDDD. He took one size and I came to return the other two sizes that didn't work. But also they were on sale for 11.99 instead of the 19.50 I paid for them. She came out with very good summer selections. One of the sales clerks said they were just about to change the line to fall collection. I guess it was a very good timing for us for a better sale. Before too long, I had three completely new outfits from head to toe, some of which were on sale at very reasonable prices. Johnston & Murphy never lacks quality clothing and shoes. Even this cozy little store packs a lot of merchandise into a small area, with an extremely impressive selection of shoes. The store is well kept, clean, organized and stocked with all the goods from shoes, clothing, accessories, socks, bags, and more. Service was great as well. The associate was assisting other guests when I arrived, but still made it point to acknowledge me while shopping. Overall, enjoyed my visit and love the brand!
