So I wanted to take the time to actually say that this company is amazing, you called them and they show up, their professional they're clean, Eric the owner. He is an awesome person. very understanding, very professional, and very detail oriented. His team that he has They do phenomenal work. I just had them installed all my light throughout the house, installed a water heater, fix all the electrical wiring for our water pump house.etc... Had an EV charger installed (Grizzl-E dual) for a new Ford Mach-E. Decent quote. Good value but not the lowest. They came recommended as they did an EV charger for a co-worker recently. They needed to run from a basement breaker box up to the garage. Quote was fast. Schedule was easy to set up and timing was just a few days. They arrived exactly as scheduled with a call before. 2 man electrician team completed it in about 3 hours. They cleaned up after themselves. Overall they did great. Highly recommend. read more

I asked them for a quote to rewire the house. Two guys showed up, tightened the wires on breakers. I thought wow, these guys are good. Great customer service. They checked around. Their boss sent a quote via email. Before leaving they gave me a bill for a service call. I paid it. They lost my business for the rewire, I just awarded to another company. Their quote was at least 20% higher than any other quote. Never deal with these yahoos. read more

One of the scariest things about moving to a new area is finding reliable, trustworthy service technicians. I now have an electrician! We had an electrical problem and wanted new power outlets in our garage. Eric came and figured out what was going on with our power and let us know how to get our electric provider to fix their issue and sent a team to put in the new outlets. I'm an engineer and generally speaking, most contractors don't like working for me because I am knowledgeable, detailed and hard to please with my expectations of excellence - which to be clear is different than perfection. Nothing is perfect, but customer service can be excellent. My job was simple with adding 4 circuit breakers to a panel and 4 dedicated outlets very nearby in a garage installation. I used Yelp's contractor connection system with some hesitation as I did get other companies reply with generic responses, to call switchboards, and be redirected around to several people. In some cases getting replies from different people in parallel from the same company. (right hand not talking to the left = no thank you for contractor work) I also called other contractors directly and left voice mails that were never returned. With MC6, Eric the owner contacted me right away. He was clear in asking for emailed pictures, followed up by an on site visit next day to make a quote. Eric showed up same day in the time slot we planned. With a reasonable quote, he gave me several options to start the job, including 8am the next day. I considered the value of my time quoting with other contractors and how the price couldn't be that much lower, and I decided to pull the trigger with MC6 immediately. He replied every time in less than 30 minutes in our communications, and confirmed his team would arrive 8am the next day. (responding to my 6:40pm in the evening email) The team showed up right on time at 8am, keeping 6ft. separation distances the whole time. (covid) They took some time to review the project and make sure everything was how I wanted. We specifically marked where outlets would go, and even how much extra wire I would like behind the drywall so I could adjust things later if I wanted to. They were quick to install, measuring twice and cutting once. They did not make dirty smudges all over the walls. They cleaned up the dust afterwards without me asking. Billing was fast with a check and we had an instant email Invoice and Receipt. Very professional. In the end, I could have done this job myself, but some things aren't as easily understood by others and I believe it adds home resale value to have a licensed and insured electrician work in key areas. Call the extra money I paid someone else to do the work an insurance policy. (In fact, I am positive my insurance company would appreciate a licensed contractor doing as much of the work as possible.) With this experience, and as a picky "know-it-all" engineer type, I can confidently say I recommend MC6 for this type of work. Great job to the whole team! read more

I called Eric and we set up a time for him to come and look at my pool light problem. He came out, emailed me a quote within a couple of hours and his guys were out at 8am the next day to get to work. Okay, Eric, you want the truth, here it is. Our wall wasn't finished, so we did not ask you to wire that area. We did not call about that. We called about the issues with the wiring you already did. You mention a two year warranty, but our call was NOT about a warranty. We never asked for free work. We were prepared to pay you what you normally ask to do the work, so we can have a fully wired house. We paid you in full for the work you did earlier, which was not so great, but you get on here and lie and say we didn't pay you. I have the papers to prove it. If you scheduled us accidentally for the afternoon, why no call? That's unprofessional. We would have been understanding, although I couldn't have changed my schedule today. These are reasons we won't call you again, and we will not be silent about the treatment we received. I'm sorry if you feel it's trashing your business, but I feel customers should hear the truth. read more

I have never posted a review before, and I honestly hate to do it now...however, I feel the need to warn women looking for an electrician to avoid MC6 Electric. The 2 guys that came to install my chandelier were awesome. They were very professional and friendly. When the install hit a bump in the road, the technician called Eric (the boss) to explain what was going on. Long story short, I was quoted $300 to hang a chandelier. The wiring wasn't long enough to hang the fixture where I wanted it, so the technician said he would rewire it. The very professional and skilled technician rewired the chandelier within 20 minutes. I was charged an additional $250 for the rewire. I have since learned that most electricians wouldn't charge for rewiring if a client was already paying $300 for a chandelier to be installed. I wrote a check for $550 dollars for the installation of a chandelier. I feel as if I've been taken advantage of... read more
