Everything tasted fine, but other than the fuel for my absolute love of beams, it wasn't particularly anything to write home about, I do remember vividly, however, their way of calling their pudding a strawberry shortcake, and succeeding in using only one strawberry! I have eaten there on several occasions and the food is basic pub food but it very cheap - its nothing special but its tasty and great if there's a few of you wanting some grub. As i only live 30 seconds walk away its really handy for me to stagger home from - although the smoking area is basically table (broken) on the car park! Oh well - beggars can't be choosers eh?!
