This place is SUPER vegan/vegetarian friendly, but their beef burgers looked like great quality too. There was only one employee working the entire store, and MAN that guy was working HARD and WELL. He gave me some fries to munch on since it was taking so long to get my order completed (like I said, he was the only employee at 3am with a completely packed restaurant). There were maybe 15 people packed into this hole in the wall, many locals. The burger had some homemade sauce, sweet mustard sauce, and just all around deliciousness. Chicken was juicy, thick and cooked to perfection. I aim to return before leaving Berlin

There's lots of awesome pictures of pugs everywhere! It's a bit hard to manage the taps and the instructions were poor. On to the food. Classic burger - cheeseburger - good Fries - good Sweet potato fries - decent Chicken tenders - decent Truffle burger - truffle cream sauce, whole mushrooms, hard shaved cheese, rocket, lettuce and tomatoes: Decent. It would have been nice if the cheese was melted. The mushrooms kept falling off the burger since it was whole mushrooms. It was easier to eat with a fork and knife. Get the sauce on the side. Some issues we encountered: Lights to the bathroom and in the bathroom were not turned on so you had to use your phone flashlight or a watch flashlight. No paper towels in the machine in the bathroom besides the towels by the wall (but didn't see it because it was pitch dark in the bathroom) It was hard to order more water for the table.

I wanted to order the entire menu but restrained myself and just got the Tom Ka Kai soup and Prawn Katsu Burger. Both were wonderful! The basil lemonade was the cherry on top of my order, herbaceous and fizzy. I loved every sip! My husband ordered the Umami Burger and fries and was kind enough to share a couple bites. His items were good, but I liked mine way better. The restaurant itself is quaint and cute. You almost forget you're right in the middle of Alexanderplatz under the TV Tower and not tucked into some quiet side-street in some far off destination. It seems to be family run (I think we met father and son at the register and spotted mom cooking) and every employee we encountered was super kind and accommodating. Makes me wish I lived in Berlin instead of Italy so that we could visit more often! Wonder if they'd mail me some of that Tom Ka Kai soup? Hmmm...
