I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday in Arkansas and didn't know where to start. I'm pretty particular about floral design--I was hoping for something unique and thoughtfully arranged for her. I called right at closing, gave a budget, and trusted the shop to create something special and handle delivery. Unfortunately, the end result was disappointing. For the price ($100), the bouquet felt underwhelming. The size and value didn't match expectations--I could have put together something much fuller myself for the same cost. The stem lengths were also inconsistent, which made it difficult for her to arrange them nicely in a vase. I had also asked for a photo prior to delivery, which wasn't provided. FANTASTIC!!! Thank you Shirley's Flower Studio for creating and delivering the most gorgeous floral basket arrangement. I found Shirleys via a search on Yelp, naturally...and I decided to navigate to the shop's web site. I was looking for something unique for my auntie's birthday, not just a cut flower arrangement but a plant arrangement that will last a while. I came across the most beautiful Blooming Bulb Basket (Standard) for $68. Local delivery was $12.95 to the Bentonville/Rogers area. The photo on their website looks exactly as the delivery. My aunt was very pleased, and said there were hyacinths, tulips and other spring bulb plants. There was a tiny little butterfly decoration on the basket's handle. Such a lovely arrangement and will make my aunt smile for weeks. The shop has a pretty good variety of plants, I noticed some interesting succulents and a great selection of floral arrangements. I didn't have to contact the shop as I had no issues. I received an email confirmation of my order, then a second email that the order was processed, and a final email when the order was delivered. I lost my daughter on February 1st, and I needed a casket spread I had forgot about flowers and Miss Alexis was very helpful she designed the colors and flowers what my daughter would have loved. With only three weeks to plan, and a late theme color change due to an unexpected dress snafu, they accommodated us beautifully, timely and fairly. Fiancé ordered flowers to be delivered today, Valentine's Day, by 12pm to my work. They never delivered. He called them around 2pm asking when they would be delivered and they weren't even en route yet. He called again after 5pm and asked them to deliver to our home since it was after 5 and I was leaving work. They said they would deliver to our home and he gave them my number to contact if any issues come up. Here it is now 6:30... 6.5 hours after they were suppose to deliver and they STILL HAVE NOT been delivered. Very unprofessional. This is beyond ridiculous. I will never recommend this florist to anyone. They are closed now so of course no one is answering our calls. Just about to post this review when my fiancé got a confirmation email stating they had been delivered to me!!! Are you kidding me?! We are both sitting in our home and no I have not received the flowers. We even went outside to check to see if they left them at the door without knocking. NOPE!!! read more

That being said I'm a bit disappointed when I saw the arrangement based on the expectation the comes with a "Premium" label The first picture below is of the standard "In Full Bloom" arrangement taken directly from their website. The standard arrangement is pictured "As shown" on their site with options for a "Deluxe" and even better "Premium" versions that as you image come with a deluxe and premium price. The second picture is what was recieved. Looks the pretty much the same as the standard version shown on the website right? Well, I ordered the Premium and have no clue how it would be any different if i had just went with the standard version. I placed an order online then called to make some changes to the info & the person who answered the phone said she couldn't find my order. I told her I just placed it a few mins ago, long story short, ended up having to place the order through the phone. After hanging up she called me back & said she found the order I placed online. She was helpful but wish I didn't have to deal with that. I sent the flower arrangement to a friend that was in the hospital. I went to visit her & saw the flower arrangement that I have sent and I was very disappointed on how small it was. I specifically chose the premium size thinking it was going to be a nice decent size but I was wrong. I understand that some flowers hasn't bloomed yet but even if that was the case, the arrangement was about 1/4 of the size of the other arrangements that she received. This place has the worst customer service ever. I ordered a floral delivery to Mercy Hospital Yesterday, 5-5-2022, They called at 630 am my time to tell me that the hospital said ICU can't take delivery. After calling Charge nurse and getting the ok and name of said charge nurse, I called Bella back and asked for a redelivery. After speaking with Bella, later in the day, and conforming that, yes, A charge nurse confirmed, that she maybe have the delivery, i said go ahead, as i was told it had not been cancelled. all day thinking the delivery was going to take place, i got a text message saying order had been cancelled??? What the What, I was just told it had not been cancelled. I called back and got hung up on, I called again to get the manager, who knew it was me and address me with the order name..MAYBE if she spent this much time trying to deliver and not argue with customers, and calling to see it can be delivered, I might have gotten what I paid for. BUT NO...that didn't happen. I called my bank, it has not been cancelled at this time and was advised not to reorder from them. I WILL REORDER, BUT FROM SOMEONE ELSE, NEVER HERE AGAIN.... read more

Shirley's saved the day! We were throwing an 85th birthday party for my Mom. We had come from out of town and an unnamed florist assured me they would have daisies when we got there. Well, the party day arrived and they had no daisies. One florist that I called, who didn't have daisies either, recommended Shirley's! I ordered flowers last Wednesday for my husband to be delivered on Thursday. Thursday morning I received a call stating the butterfly vase I ordered was not in stock, and they asked if they could substitute something just as nice, I told them that would be fine. The flowers arrived Thursday afternoon I was not impressed with the arrangement or the vase and by Friday evening the flowers were dead. I have used Shirley's many times but I will not use them again. When you pay almost $80.00 for something it should look good and last longer than overnight. read more

Having worked for a florist years ago in another NWA city I remembered that Shirley's had a good reputation and called. I called at ONE MINUTE before closing time and the employee who took my call offered to wait for me. Expecting to be rushed and just marginally accommodated, instead she took her time, let me look at pics and made two trips to the cooler to show me flowers she thought I hadmight appreciate, all without my asking or acting inconvenienced. She instilled such confidence that I ended up letting the corsage and boutinierre I was ordering be "designer's choice" in arrangement. I am a 68 year old Grandmother of 28 (I am blessed!), and I live in New Mexico. I called Shirley's Flowers & Gifts this morning to order a balloon bouquet with a stuffed animal for my #28 grandchild Isaac's first birthday, which is this Thursday. Haroldine was the lady on the phone who assisted me. She not only went the second mile, she went the 10th mile! She helped me with every detail, i.e., texting pictures of the stuffed animals I could choose from, describing the mylar balloons i could choose from, and arranging for the order to be ready when my daughter will pick it up and no sooner so that the balloons will be totally inflated. My mom ordered a 60 dollar balloon bouquet in honor of my 4 year old daughter that is a liver transplant survivor. They were sent out to houston texas. My daughter got a 5 dollar monkey which was not what she asked for and about 6 dollars worth of balloons that had nothing to do with what my mother specified. The animal was supposed to have a green bow signifying the liver transplant, the bow was white and the monkey was full of dust. Does this bouquet look like 60 bucks? I could have made this for less than 10 dollars. Then when I and my mother called to tell them the order wasn't correct we were talked to like dogs, even called a bitch by the bitter old woman that worked there.
