Pretty disappointed in my experience with Flora. I made an online purchase for a $50 bouquet to be delivered to my best friend on her birthday. I live across the country and wasn't able to celebrate her in person so I was planning on a spectacular floral surprise to brighten her day. I was skeptical because I couldn't view the bouquet prior to purchase but took a chance in the beautiful arrangements advertised on their website but wish I would've gone with Bouqs or any other floral delivery service. After tax and deliver fees my $50 bouquet turned into a $100 purchase which came as a surprise but I was excited and optimistic for a gorgeous bouquet. I placed my order 4 days prior to the delivery date and was pleased to receive a prompt confirmation of purchase and delivery date, recipient and address. Unfortunately, despite ordering days in advance and receiving accurate confirmation the bouquet was not delivered!!!! Not only that but then my surprise ruined when I had to explain to my friend that I sent flowers that weren't delivered but I felt that I completely wasted my money. I attempted to call the establishment to inquire as to what happened with my order but nobody answered and there was no opportunity to leave a message. The following Monday the establishment did actually initiate a phone call to me to inform me that for no apparent reason the bouquet hadn't been delivered. The woman despite being unable to explain what happened took full accountability for the error. She offered to send a $100 bouquet and to refund the delivery fee at that time. I was extremely frustrated and requested a full refund of my money in addition to them delivering my initial $50 bouquet purchase. The woman I spoke with was willing to oblige my request but then went on to request my credit card info as she was unsure how to refund via PayPal. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving her my cc info and that I would follow up with PayPal to which she immediately decided that she would contact PayPal to figure it out. Shortly after this, I returned a voice message from the company inquiring as to when a good delivery time would be (maybe the date I initially requested?!), when the woman answered the number I called, she thought I was a telemarketer and answered so casually I had no idea if I dialed the wrong number or if she was even associated with the company! Completely unprofessional! My friend ended up receiving a sad, lackluster bouquet that I would expect to pay $10 for in a grocery store! At least they were willing to refund my money and deliver something, I will never order from them nor recommend their flowers nor service.
Pam is unbelievably talented! I met with her prior to the wedding and showed her a couple pictures of the dress, venue, and color scheme. She put together a bouquet on the spot and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. She also uses herbs like rosemary that make the whole room smell delicious. On my wedding day everything was set up, labeled, and hand delivered. Her flowers were gorgeous and service flawless.
Flora is a quirky, tiny 2-room shop located a block off of Dickson, filled with beautiful, interesting flowers that will impress anyone bored by standard assortments and arrangements. The two-person staff you'll encounter are especially friendly and, importantly, knowledgeable without being condescending.
Very disappointed. Short version: inaccurate depiction of arrangements online vs. the ones you get in person, overpriced, poor customer communication. Long version: I am not one who goes out of her way to write negative reviews; however, my husband and I had the WORST experience with Flora for Valentine's Day. My husband wanted to send me flowers for VD, but I don't work at a stationary place all day. So, he thought he would pick up flowers from Flora because they are close to his job and they have a good reputation in Fayetteville. The hours listed on their website are 9AM-5PM, so my husband planned on leaving work at 4:45 to have time to pick the flowers up. When he arrived at the address listed on their website,7 E Mountain St, they were closed. He called the number listed on their website, 479-442-7010, and the line had been disconnected. He then had to call me and have me look up their instagram page (he does not have instagram) and see if they had changed locations. I clicked on the link in their bio and it brought me to a "valentine's day" page. The page stated that all VD pick-ups would be at Joon's Bridal (1.5 miles away) from 8AM-6PM. He then drove there and picked the flowers up. From what we could tell, this alternate "valentine's day" page could only be accessed via their instagram page's bio. In the email confirmation for the order there was NO information about an alternate pick up location or extended hours for pick up. And the phones are disconnected? Really? Now, just the aforementioned situation alone is cause for annoyance. However, I know that businesses rely on online reviews these days, and I hate to sour the reputation of a local business. BUT the flowers that my husband picked up looked absolutely NOTHING like the ones depicted online. For VD, customers could choose a certain arrangement "theme," and the price range was between $50-200. My husband paid $75, which I consider to be a sum that justifies a pretty nice floral arrangement, especially in Fayetteville, AR. Literally, the arrangement he received was comprised mostly of paltry greens, 3 piddling roses, and some other wilting flowers that started to lose their petals the following day. Compared to the photo on their website, the VD arrangement I received was laughably different and very obviously not worth $75. Overall, Flora did basically everything wrong in this whole scenario. If you want an overpriced flower arrangement, go to Pigment because at least their arrangments look like those purported on their website. I am definitely never using Flora again for anything, and I am absolutely telling my friends, family, etc.
We have used several florists in northwest arkansas and other states that we have lived. Flora is something special. They have exceptional, personal customer service and will listen to your interests and deliver beyond your expectations! I am a bit of a flower snob, and I was blown away by their most recent delivery for my birthday (that my wonderful hubbie ordered). Thank you, thank you!!
Yay Flora!! I was delivered a bouquet last Friday that was small with some unique flowers. I contacted the person who sent me flowers to thank them but they were not happy with the arrangement look for what they paid. I was delivered another arrangement today (that was absolutely gorgeous) to replace the first one and I couldn't be more thrilled! Thanks Flora for the beautiful flowers

I live in New York City where flowers are a very big deal. Here you can see men walking down the street with huge bouquets of flowers any day of the week. When you live in the "concrete jungle" you must make it a living, breathing space whenever possible. However, my dearest friend lives in NWA and often I want to buoy her spirits with flowers. Lately I have been terribly disappointed with the more typical floral arrangements that are available. And I detest the cheap glass containers that are produced by the millions and look so very blah. This time, rather than defaulting to another FTD florist, I went to Yelp and truly studied the comments made about each florist. I also looked at the photos that were available. It became instantly apparent that Flora and Pam Pemberton were very different in their approach and in the outcome for their clients. The picture of the flowers for Bailey was exactly what I had in mind - simple and yet gorgeous in that simplicity. I called Pam and her warmth radiated across the phone to me. We had a wonderful conversation about all things BUT flowers before we even started on the order! I had made a friend. She seemed to understand perfectly that I just did not want another cookie-cutter arrangement. When I hung up I felt as if I was in professional hands and that my order would be filled quickly and artistically. (Oh, did I forget to tell you that I called at the last minute? Yes, I called at 1:00 PM to see if I could still get a delivery that day! It did not phase her a bit) When my flowers arrived there were tears of joy and an appreciation for their artistic difference. The entire office was stunned by how very different and how beautiful they were. Pam even later sent a paragraph that helped us all know more about the artist who threw the pot that held the flowers. It turned out that the artist was an amazing woman in her own right and if Pam had not shared we would not have known. Thank you, Pam, for all that you did. You are now "My florist" in NWA. read more

So glad I used Yelp reviews to find this unique florist! They were just wonderful to help when I needed to send flowers(on a very short notice) to a distraught family member! Went over and above to deliver! I would recommend them to anyone! The bouquet was exactly what I was looking for and the recipient couldn't rave enough about them! read more

Stephanie was so kind and delivered last minute flowers for me after 5 on a Saturday! I was more than impressed, I never leave reviews but felt this one was necessary. I just told her any arrangement would work and they turned out SO beautiful. I wish more businesses were like this one read more

My parents ordered a bouquet from here for me, and it was GORGEOUS... The flowers were fresh and arranged so perfectly.. It was the perfect gift! I would recommend this place for any and every occasion. I have heard only good things about this place and now have experienced it for myself!
