These guys have a sliding scale of $20-$50 depending on whether you just want ear acupuncture ($20-$40) or a more full treatment ($30-$50). It works using lounge chairs circled in a large room and everyone is treated there. (With clothes on of course) Personally I like it better then individual rooms which sometimes feel a little claustrophobic to me. The price makes it affordable enough to go every week so the acupuncture has time to work :) They offer appointments as well as drop in on a space available basis.

After the third session (she had estimated I'd need 4-6) she declared me good to go. I hadn't felt better in a really long time. None of the acute pains have returned, some 5 months later. Not only a great experience, but an excellent value besides. Couldn't agree more with the description of Margaret: she is indeed a lovely, peaceful and kind person and, no doubt, immensely talented. I had been to another acupuncturist before, an MD in fact, and didn't have a fraction of the positive results I had with Margaret. If you are looking for an acupuncturist or even just considering it, make an appointment with Margaret post haste!

Lori somehow strikes a balance between total professionalism and friendly, personalized service. I thoroughly look forward to my visits for the following reasons: * Expertly performed acupuncture - Lori's expertise in this practice is obvious while observing her at work, and also in my wellness experience (pain reduction, vitality, fertility) * Relaxing on a warm bed with cozy sheets, hand pillows, heat lamps, wave sounds * Painless needle application - I've been to other top-notch acupuncturists and none have had Lori's gentle touch with the needles. I'd been told by several people that acupuncture might not work, but it wouldn't hurt me. But it did hurt me. On my third visit to Zhao something went wrong and when I left the lower part of my face was quite numb. This got worse. Zhao said she couldn't understand what had happened, and that nothing like this had happened before. The numbness moved to the left side of my face and left side of my mouth. It continues now, two months after the session that caused it. I have seen a neurologist, who said it might go away, or it might not. To anyone considering acupuncture, my advice would be to think hard about it--it can damage you. To anyone considering seeing Xingning Zhao, I would say, Don't.

I also have several herbal formulas from Ryan I keep on hand to use any time I start getting a cold or flu. It's like my own herbal doctor kit. He has helped my wife on numerous occasions with health issues and aches and pains and really helped my mother after another local acupuncturist gave her the wrong herbs and made her condition worse. I consistently hear from friends in the Berkshires that Ryan is the best in the Berkshires at what he does, that he fixed their shoulder, or whatever issue they had, but he is so humble he will never say such a thing, he gives all the credit to the herbs and needles. If you have an ache or pain or something the doctor hasn't been able to fix, I highly recommend calling Ryan.
