We came across the cafe…read moreafter we walked from Paignton to Brixham one afternoon and were looking for somewhere friendly we could take a rest. And the Teapot didn't disappoint. It's run by a really friendly couple who make their own unfussy, tastey dishes and at really good value. I loved this cafe as it was away from the busyness of Brixham high street and it's small enough to start conversations with other guests - we chatted to an old fisherman at the table next to us and heard some great old stories. A really lovely place which we will undoubtably return to.

Well I like the pancakes, there is a choice of toppings but you can't beat syrup in my opinion. Plate of pancakes and a nice coffee. The cafe is situated near the harbour and there is no parking but it is a clean friendly place. A visit to Brixham and a snack a Tiffany's, just perfect.

I think the couple that run this cafe could do with some extra training on customer services…read more Even though they did have a highchair available, and pointed it out in the corner of the room, they choose not to get it and left my sister standing in the middle of the room, holding a baby. Whilst this was going on, i tried to order a drink for my thirsty child (which was why we went in, in the first place), they ignored me standing at the counter, refused to tell me if they served squash or juice and instead asked me to go and sit down to look at the menu. The funny thing was that it was counter service! How hard would it of been to have helped fetch the highchair or at least acknowledged that i wanted to quickly order a drink for my child who was thirsty. I doubt we'll go there again.
