This cafe has to be seen to be believed and I don't mean that in a good way. As I ordered my tea and toast there were two dogs tied to a table near the backand just barking over and over. The woman in front of me turned to them and said, "I'm coming now, calm down."
I found a seat as far from them as I could. As she got back to her table the one dog had managed to jump up onto an adjacent table and was eating off the plates left by a previous customer! The woman just said, "Oh Harry, are you being silly?" No, he's being disgusting! This is an animal in a business that serves food. How this cafe hasn't been shut down boggles my mind. I decided to just finish my tea and get out of there, trying to ignore the dogs and their antics. I started to look around the shop. Dog pictures everywhere. Photos and paintings. I could tell that the owners were dog lovers, explaining how they could let a dog get away with being on the tables. Next to me was a series of photos depicting dogs playing on a beach. And there in the middle, to my disbelief, was one photo showing a dog defecating on the beach! In, and I know I'm repeating myself, in a business that serves food!
The only good reviews are all by dog lovers, every else should avoid this vile place. read more
