While visiting my parents in CenLa, I was delighted to see a Freddy's location in both Alexandria and Tioga. I got a Peanut Butter Bananza concrete, and it was fantastic, just like the ones I get in Kansas. Service there was polite and efficient. The store was clean and pretty busy given that it just opened. If you enjoy ice cream, or a delicious hamburger, you cannot go wrong with Freddy's.

I really just wanted to try the peach cobbler and didn't really want ice cream but I guess it comes with all of them. I was traveling though so he did ask I wanted it frozen. I'm guessing they had some soft serve. Anyway I thought that was a great tip. Now this cobbler is really the traditional type so if you're not ok with that you may not like it. I prefer a more southern style with more than the flat thinner cobbler. This one just didn't work for me personally. I also feel like the ice cream had no real flavor. To be fair they have so much more to try but it is supposed to be about the cobbler. There's so many flavors so I will try again a the DT associate gave me some of his favorite ones to come back for.
