I believe if business hours should be the hours they can provide services not only the time they unlock the doors. So if you will open at 5am you should be at shop around 3:30 / 4 to have products ready to actually conduct business during hours of operations.

I considered going through the drive through but since I had never been there before I'd have been looking at the menu holding up progress so I just went inside for a look at all what was left in the way of donuts, biscuits, and kolache. for mid morning there was still a good selection in the cases: I was pleased to find an assortment of conventionally frosted and glazed yeasts and cakes plus turnovers, muffins, and donut seeds alongside a selection of kolaches: sausage, boudin, cheesey things... and some breakfasty biscuits too :-) old fashioned, glazed, sausage kolache and a SEC biscuit got me through the day. seems like a lot but that was all of it all the way to Atlanta where I had a more sensible but tedious breakfast the following morning. donuts are light and taste like donuts (not oil, yea!!) the old fashioned is heavy on icing but not ridiculously so. kolache is firm but not stiff and a bit sweet to help savor the meats. not really impressed with the biscuit but I had it cold with a packet of mustard about eight hours after leaving the shop so that's probably more my fault than theirs to be honest ;-) so yeah, if I had a whirl-o-meter Donuts, Coffee & More would be spinning it pretty hard. if you're near here go here but watch out for cross traffic because apparently headlights are optional in the rain.
