Best donuts in Longview!!! I go here all the time and won't go anywhere else.The donuts are affordable and delicious!

I love Shipley Do-Nuts! I'm a big donut fan so it's pretty tricky to find a donut I don't like. These have great flavor and texture. My favorite was the blueberry cake donut, which can sometimes be hard to find! The service was fine and we got them to go, so nothing much to say about the ambiance. read more

LONG POST ALERT!!Beware of using your debit/credit card at Shipley's Donuts on the Spur. The older Asian lady is stealing. She ran my sister's card & says it is declined so of course she tells her the money is there, check deposited. Asian says I run through again, no take declined. Okay so my sister pays cash, go to another store, use card & it goes through. Call bank, check and associate confirms deposit & says transaction of $34.99 went through so she was paid twice. Went back with police today to confront her and Asian lies. Have bank printout & all. She refused to refund money so now we have to dispute charge at bank! Make sure you get printout of declined transaction! read more

This place is incredible! We've went here multiPle multiple times, and it's never disappointed. The food is always fresh and oh so good . The employees here are so sweet too! Wonderful customer service. read more

I am writing this as a reminder for myself to stop coming here. Every time I come here its a 20+ minute wait and either I have to wait for regular glazed donuts or choose something I dont want. Stopped by to get breakfast this morning at 5:15 and ended up leaving without anything. Guy at the window helped the person in front of me, I pulled up, placed my order. Watched guy put my kolache in the bag and my donuts in the bag with the same gloves on he used for the previous customer. I told him he didn't change his gloves and I wouldn't be taking the food. I just wanted some Hot & Fresh Donuts! Nothing fancy( one cream filled and one Cinnamon & sugar) just cheap and fresh. I got fresh, but not cheap. I usually pay cash thru any drive thru, but today I just had my debit card. I got charged an extra 50 cents for using my card. Unless you buy a dozen donuts you get charged the fee. Next time I'll go to McDonalds or another fast food place. I like supporting local businesses, but forcing me to spend extra money to buy your product isn't acceptable. read more

I LOVE the Shipley's in College Station (probably go 1-2 times per week), but the Shipley's here is just awful. The glazed donuts I just got (at 8am; so not near closing) are half iced and taste like they could be from yesterday. read more

Donuts were pretty awful. Mushy and wet. "Kolaches" (i put them in quotes because they were really not very representative of the genre) were very unimpressive. I typically do not go to Shipleys, but this one was not at all in keeping with what i remember from other Shipleys. Bad enough in fact that i felt obligated to write this review, and I never write reviews. There is a local donut place right down the street, suggest you try that one instead. ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER RETURN TO SHIPLEYS I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY FOREVER! We pulled up to a Shipley's drive thru at 4:55 AM the "open" at 4:30AM and no one came to the window to service us. I saw people in the back working and even other employees upfront and it was like no one even knew they had customers. TERRIBLE SERVICE! The doughnuts looked old like they had been there a few days. We tried another location and their products did not look fresh. I remember going to Shipley's as a kid and eating excellent doughnuts and pigs in a blanket but never again. New management or something has ruined this business. SO SAD! read more

Open at 4:30 am, went by at 4:45. Very limited selection out at the time. Soon discovered, to my horror that they are selling yesterday's donuts as fresh. Stale, nasty and obviously not made today. Terrible taste. If you go, ASK if the donuts were made this month. read more
