A nice local low key spot for good donuts, good prices, but horrible coffee. There is quite a bit of tables and booths available to sit and enjoy your breakfast, and it's a seat yourself and order/pay at the front style store. I tried the maple bacon donut, which was good, wonderful flavor, more genuine homemade flavor/texture than Krispy Kreme, yet not overly fluffy and artificial like grocery store donuts. The coffee was very reasonably priced, but tasted marginally better than licking the floor. If I lived close by, I would return for the donuts. The cashiers were welcoming and friendly as well. Parking is tight and limited, however. read more

Great donuts great service fast service I would definitely recommend you try them out

Hometown staple! Honestly does it even need a review? Hot, fresh, delicious do nuts are always a good choice.

Horrible and disrespectful staff. Purchased the last two kolaches at the store and as i am paying for it, the drive thru staff comes and grabs one of kolaches i already paid for and my cashier stares at his colleague without explaining that I already purchased them. He ends up just saying he is sorry and that's it. What is this? How can 2 colleagues not communicate? I think this was very disrespectful and unprofessional to see that the food I already purchased been stolen from me in front of my eyes read more

Don't order here off of DoorDash. They forgot the main part of my order, so I only got donut holes and a single donut. DoorDash gave me a refund, but now I have to go up there to reorder it. Pointless for me to spend extra on DoorDash just to have to drive up there myself anyways. Also, if you want hot/warm donuts, I suggest KRISPY KREME. Shipley never has warm donuts. read more

Meh. It's donuts. Kinda hard to f@ck that up. The coffee was ok. Words words words is this review long enough yet?

Best donuts in town. The one on hardy street can get crazy, especially on Saturdays, but worth the wait. Can't Go wrong with any of their goods. read more

I have been coming to this place since the mid 90's. They easily have the best doughnuts in Hattiesburg. Especially when you get them fresh and hot; get them in the morning. Krispy Kreme fans don't know what they're missing. read more

Visiting hattiesburg with new clients wanted to bring a snack. Bought a dozen beautiful donuts from here and they were amazing. Great place with great staff read more

Ahhh...stopping at Shipley's for a dozen hot donuts on our way upstate is a cherished activity for my family. The warm, soft glazed rings are sure to be the staple food in heaven...and the chocolate covered glazed, the long johns, the fruit filled....pair it all with a cold bottle of milk and you just won the lottery, pal. Not to mention the staff is friendly and patient as you drool over the counter at all the delectable delights that are just waiting there for you to pick them next. Donuts are good, Shipley's donuts are gooder, HOT Shipley's donuts are the goodest! Go get some...now...life is too short to not eat donuts! read more

Great donuts. I have been going here for decades. Since college! I do hope they will fix the drive through so customers are not blocking Hardy Street, it is a hazard. read more

Always love this place! Their donuts is a real deal. Bring me the memories of my childhood. No fancy donuts, just sugar white. But always tasty!!! This is not my first time, but my first review on Yelp. For sure, I will return for more. Who can say NO to donuts?! read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - My favorites ever!!! - Donuts Near Me - Hattiesburg, Mississippi

See all

Love the donuts, the best I ever had. The best cinnamon rolls and sugar white donuts. Love to see one in Greenville SC.

Hometown favorite!!!!! Love love love Shipley's!!!!! You must visit if you're in the hub city!

Very good donuts at a good price. Regularly enjoy getting them and the drive thru is convenient. The only advice I would give when ordering is not to ask for random dozen. You'll get 6 glazed and 6 of the least popular flavors they want to get rid of, which is disappointing. They've done this to me multiple times now, so I have to be specific when ordering. Their coffee is bad. read more

When I think of Shipley, I think true southern hospitality! I make it a priority to stop in for donuts and coffee while visiting family. I brought my German boyfriend and our son here for the very first time (all they know is the other commercial donut place that starts with a K) and I think the little one is just as obsessed over the donut holes and I am. Since the place is pretty small, the drive through line can be a bit of a wait if you're coming during the morning rush hour, but it's worth the wait. Can't wait for my next visit back to Mississippi just for Shipley Donuts! read more

They were not willing to sell us anything when we asked. We tried to call to get them ready in advance to tell them we were going to order a big order and they did not answer. They said there was not enough donuts even when we were looking at the wall of donuts behind her. They denied us service and I think that we won't be buying donuts here anymore. read more

Nice workers okay donuts. They don't have much flavor but do the job. I got 3 donuts and my favorite was the pig in a blanket

This is simply the best Do-Nut shop around. I bought the cinnamon twist and Oh My God! Best twist I have ever had in my life. Thank you for coming to Oak Grove!!!!!!! read more

By far the best Do-nut I have ever had! My wife and went there Sunday morning and got mixed dozen and a FRESH dozen of glazed. Their Do-nuts are amazing, but when you get some fresh from the fryer......OMG!!! We are new to the area and we're hoping there would be a substitute to our old bakery. Well let me tell you they surpassed our expectations and our old bakery. If you are in the area do yourself a favor an stop on in to grab a Do-nut you'll be glad you did! read more

Excellent donuts. Made fresh everyday. It beats all the donut chains. Very clean. The workers are extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

Hott or room temperature their regular glazed doughnuts are better than Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Doughnuts. My honest "fat boy" opinion.

Amazing fresh donuts! Only downside is that they don't have fountain drinks. I guess you don't need them with donuts this good.

I wasn't aware this was a chain until later. I was really disappointed that they don't make their donuts fresh but get weekly delivery of cake glazed doughnuts. read more

Fresh doughnuts made before you. So many flavors and a friendly staff. Well worth the trip from Indianapolis! A must stop on futue visits.

Grew up eating these donuts and always come back here when I am in town. I have literally eaten donuts all over the planet, and Shipley is hands-down the best. Try the bacon-maple and creme filled. Every donut I have tried is a winner! read more

Just had a cake donut at Shipleys Do-Nuts taste Great Fantastic People, very impressed how clean place was!

By far, the best donuts. Far superior to any other donut place. They taste the same as they tasted 20 years ago.

My parents used to take me to Shipley's in Greenville when I was younger. When we moved, we never found another Shipley's. Until Hattiesburg. Absolutely nothing beats Shipley's. You can't get donuts like those anywhere. Krispy Kreme doesn't even rank on the same list. read more
