I have to Agree with Yelper Melissa M. and a few other yelpers. This bakery doesn't seem like it has it together just yet. When we were there, nothing was ready, none of the breads were ready we wanted. The staff was very kind & offered us a sample of the dill potato bread that was available, however, we didn't like it at all. The blueberry danish was good, it was slightly sweet which I LOVE but it was so sticky goopy that I would never order it again :( The ham & cheese croissant is made with Virginia dry ham I believe. It was GIANT the biggest croissant I have ever seen. It was very dense also & the dry virginia ham gave it a very strong GAME flavor. Wouldn't order it again either. The place is designed very cute with a coffee bar but there was no one there rush hour morning. Yikes. The worst part, hubby said their bathroom was disgusting filthy. That apparently it had not been cleaned in a while with tons of dust on top of urine all over the toilet base. Will not return. read more

Guys. I think I have tried every king cake on the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Mobile. There are some good ones to be sure, but a friend brought me one from Loblolly and it beat all of them hands down. Sweet but not too sweet. Soft and moist. Not at all dry. It is by far the best king cake in the region. I have had all of the famous ones, and this one tops them all. If you have the chance, get one of these king cakes. It is outstanding. read more

I contacted the bakery approximately eight months ago to see if they would make minichocolate and almond croissants for my daughter's wedding reception. The lady spoke with the baker and told me that yes, that is something that they could do. I was told to not place my order until approximately two weeks before the wedding. When the time came and I went in to place the order, I was told that they no longer made the minis. After speaking with the baker, I told her that I was told months ago that these could be done and that we have been counting on them this whole time, but they still refused to honor the verbal agreement. read more

Walked in and I knew I was in for a treat ! Saw a young lady making Almond Croissants and had to get some . They were AMAZING ! Great almond filling , wonderful texture , a buttery, flaky melt in your mouth croissant . Toasted almonds on top for that lil crunch - so so good . I highly recommend you give them a try. I ordered a king cake from Loblolly. It was shipped as promised but the carrier delayed shipping by 6 days so when it arrived it was completely stale, crumbly, and inedible. I started trying to contact Loblolly during the delay and have continued after delivery to inform them of the issue. My repeated emails, calls, and messages through social media accounts have gone unanswered. Not even an apology much less an offer for a discounted replacement. If this is the way you treat your customers, I do not recommend. read more

This place is amazing. Their coffee is delicious but their bakery items are the best. They have a stuffed crossaint that is better than the ones I've had in Paris. Stopped in on our way back home to Mobile. My wife and I ate a burger at Ed's (which is always awesome) then stopped at Loblolly's. It was after 2:00 and they still had some pastries and bread. We ordered a blueberry muffin and a raspberry and white chocolate muffin along with the last loaf of sourdough bread. As soon as we got home we had to try and the muffins were delicious with coffee and the sourdough bread was the best we ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our decisions. This is a must stop by even at 2:00 !! The interior was very clean and decorated as I would think a bakery should be. This will be our must stop place on our trips through the HubCity !! read more

The wild rice bread and sourdough baguettes are a fantastic addition to Hattiesburg. I've only given 3 stars because twice when I've tried to enjoy a coffee and pastry on site, the owners were making podcasts that took up most of the indoor dining space and were sound-sensitive, so I couldn't converse with my fellow guest. We had to sit outside, sweating in the Mississippi heat. Why these recordings can't be arranged outside of business hours is beyond me, especially when the entirety of Saturday afternoon would be good for that since the business closes at 3. Won't be going back for anything but pick up orders. read more

This place has so much potential. Walked in Saturday morning and no one was in line. They mentioned they didn't have a cook but were able to make me a bacon egg and cheese bagel. The wife ordered a chocolate almond croissant and a sesame cream cheese bagel. It took about 20 min to get mine but then they never packaged up the croissant or cream cheese bagel. Come to find out they gave the last two croissants away to customer that ordered after us and I had to put the cream cheese on the sesame bagel myself lol. They were nice and apologetic. They gave me a chocolate muffin and refunded everything without me asking. Again, looks like a cool place with nice items on the menu but they just need to figure out the kinks. I recently came and purchased a blueberry cream cheese King Cake. Total was $32 and some change. I was at the drive thru window. I handed the employee my card, she swiped it, and gave it back and told me to have a good one. She never had me fill out a tablet for a tip and did not give a receipt. Later that day, I checked my bank account and was charged $39.54. I went back to the store and they gave me a gift card for the amount I was charged ($39.50). I don't want to assume the associate tipped herself, but I'm not sure why else I would've been charged an extra $7 when I bought nothing else. I appreciate the associate who gave me the gift card and he was very kind about the matter, but I'm disappointed the situation occurred and hope this is not a recurring issue. read more

This is a very exciting addition to Hattiesburg, but I do have thoughts. The pastry dough for the croissants (plain, almond, chocolate) is off. It is not as airy or flaky as it should be, and there is not the note of sweetness that should be there. For most of the pastries and bread, the gluten is over developed. The dimensions of the pastries are completely preposterous. They need to be smaller. The people upfront are extremely nice. However, efficiency needs to be worked on. First, pastries could be put in bags, and not boxes, and this would take much less time. Also, if we are completely committed to the principle of boxes, the person taking orders should note what is inside the box before passing it on to the person that cashes you out. This way the person at the single register is not obligated to reopen your box to figure out what you had ordered. Also, if we are being completely honest, I do not understand why four people are involved with taking my order. But we can discuss that another time. Much hope that this place works though, because Hattiesburg is desperately deprived of a decent bakery. C'est la vie and Town Square are still much missed. read more

Great little bakery with a wide variety of baked goods. We tried the cinnamon roll and a pecan sticky bun (both large enough for big appetites). All of it tasted fresh, and the drive thru is efficient. Cost is reasonable considering the quality- Highly recommend this place. read more

This place is great. Cannot put it into words how good their biscuits are, but I will try. I haven't really tried anything else because of how good these biscuits are. I could eat these biscuits forever and ever. Last meal, these biscuits. 10 of em. I wont even need the chair after because the biscuits will put me in a food coma. In the coma I would dream about these biscuits. The thing about these biscuits is they're unlike any biscuit I have ever had. They have flavor. I don't even know what it is so I'm not going to try but it's just what you wanted a biscuit to taste like without ever knowing it. The bagels are great too. The inside is great nice setting for a bakery. The people are really nice and attentive. If there's a bad review about this place, they never had the biscuit. I've eaten here five times in the last five weeks and have enjoyed every dish I've tried. One of my favorites is the morning breakfast biscuit, both sausage and bacon varieties. One complaint: 2 of the 5 times in the last five weeks, they have been out of all but the fried steak biscuits. Make more bacon and sausage! Today I had a croissant with sausage and cheese prepared in the kitchen. It was delicious. Which reminds me of a complaint with the croissant I got a couple of weeks ago. That morning I also got one of their mini-quiches. They asked if I'd like those warmed up. I said yes. They put them in, not a microwave, but a warming oven. They seemed to be in there a long time. When I finally got them the quiche was just the right temperature. The croissant had dried out and totally changed character. I loved their cinnamon roll, but then different people have different tastes when it comes to cinnamon rolls. The ladies behind the pastry are always courteous and friendly. The ambiance is nice. Pretty well decorated. But if they could get the tables wiped a little faster that would be nice. Prices are definitely on the high side, but that's probably what is required to get good help these days. read more
