Shine On Windows Date of Work: 11/25/2023, Date of Review: 11/26/2023 Bottom Line Up Front: I've used Shine On Windows twice a year for several years and have always been very happy with the quality of their services. I would confidently recommend them for pressure washing and window cleaning. Positives: Interactions with all members of the business have always been very friendly and professional regardless whether it's been the owners (Rhiannon and Matt) or their staff. This visit was particularly positive as Juan and Eduardo were fantastic. Juan volunteered to clear off my gutter leaf guards, a process that terrifies me, lol. Work has always been done diligently and easily meets my expectations. Observations: Getting on their calendar can be very challenging; I suspect due to the demand of their services. I'll discuss cost below. General Commentary: As mentioned above, we've been using SoW twice a year (to have things looking sharp before hosting Thanksgiving and in late April after the pollen-geddon is over) for a number of years. My standard service includes pressure washing ~90 ft of vinyl fence, a 600+ sq ft deck, lots of wrap-around sidewalks and the exterior of a 1951, 1,550 sq ft home. It also includes interior and exterior washing of ~35 windows (we have a ridiculous amount of windows...). The whole process takes two works between 2.5 - 3 hours but the final product is demonstrably better than before the high pressure water gets thrown around. Even my neighbors have even commented that house just looks better after the cleaning. I've not price-shopped this service because I've been so pleased with the outcome so can't comment objectively on the relative value. I will share that my charge is about $550 before tipping (and I always tip). I believe I get a discount as a return customer, as well. I'm sure some will balk at this price but ultimately it's a personal decision. The time it would take me to achieve the same effect would far exceed 2 or 3 hours; and that's not even counting avoiding my fear of heights! In summary, I continue to be pleased with the quality service Shine On Windows provides and will continue to use them. If professional pressure washing and window cleaning is a need of yours, I highly recommend them. read more

05/08/2024 UPDATE: The original owners are no longer there and the new owners are not responsive. I can not recommend them at this time and will be looking for a new company. I was so happy with the service when Matt and Rhiannon were the owners. our review from Sept 17,2017 We love them! Our windows looked fabulous when they were done. They were fast and reasonable, very personable. Rhiannon and Matt also replaced a couple of screens for us. We have used them twice and have them scheduled to come again around Thanksgiving. I am sad to say this business has been sold and the new people have been unreachable/ unresponsive since early December. I have beem trying to schedule for the year but all radio silent on their end. They did say they have increased their prices. Too bad price increase and quality decrease. Hope they get their act together soon. read more

Tried, unsuccessfully, for over SIX months to contact this business. They damaged three of my screens and after promising to repair/replace them, have dropped out of sight---no return calls, no return emails--just nothing. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and it went nowhere--they refused to reply. For goodness sake, go anywhere else for this service. Had been with the company and the previous owners for over six years until they sold the business; new owners are.....???? terrible. read more

I've used these folks several times in the past with excellent results...on time, reasonable prices and friendly, professional employees. But as others have noted, the business was sold last year and things have gone to hell. Most recent example: we were scheduled for exterior window cleaning on May 23rd. The night before we were contacted and told they couldn't come on the 23rd and we would need to reschedule. That's OK, things happen, I get it. So we rescheduled to June 5th. Got a text message the night of the 4th confirming appointment for the 5th, arrival time between 9am and 11am. Guess what?? Complete no show on the 5th, with no communication or response to my messages for update. Don't waste your time...find someone else to do this work for you. read more

We've been using Rhianna & Matthew for a number of years now. They brush pressure-sprayed our driveway, Sidewalk, front patio, back porch & A/C pads, & washed windows inside & out. In addition, this Spring we had them spray/brush/pressure wash our screens on the porch. Everything looks so clear,clean, & new again. Their communications are excellent; their punctuality is top drawer, & their pricing is the best, e.g. they held their charges to those of a year ago. Incredible in this environment. I had an 8AM appointment for cleaning my lanai screens. They didn't show. Customer Service rep, when I contacted her, first went silent, then texted that their schedule got backed, I guess from the previous day, her phone had died, etc., then offered no remedy. More than a year later, I'm still using Rhiannon & Matt because they do a quick & thorough job!
