We called Matt on 6/7/13 to have them clean 4 second floor windows. Matt stated that he can come on 6/10. It turned out to be raining on 6/10 so it was rescheduled for 6/14 after lunch. By 2:30pm, when nobody showed or called, my mother called and left a message for someone call back. Around 4pm, received call back from a woman (his wife?) stating that they were backed up. The woman asked "Do you want them cleaned or what?". Matt showed up around 5pm in his little red car with a ladder on top. My mother asked why he was late and his response was "Do you want them cleaned or what?". He cleaned two windows and then up and left without even letting us know that he left. We found out when my mother did not hear any noises and went to look outside and discovered he was gone. We called on 6/15 and left a message for him to call back. No return call. We called on 6/17 and left a message for him to call back and again no return call. As of 6/27 we have not heard from Matt and the job is still incomplete.

6/30/13 Hi Everyone! Here is an update.....
Rec'd call from Matt yesterday in response to a complaint we filed with the Better Business Bureau.
We had a rather comical, heated exchange which included Matt being dumbfounded as to why a businessman needs to call his customer when he is going to be late. Matt then indicated that by my 75 year old mother questioning him on this matter she was being rude and demanded an apology from her. (How dare a customer expect responsibility!). A little respect for your elders would be nice. Yet, when I asked him if would wait that long for a plumber or electrician at his house he had no response.
When asked why he left the job after only cleaning 2 of the 4 windows and not telling us that he was leaving, he stated that he just didn't want to.
He then proceeded to tell us not to call him again and slammed down the phone. Very mature, huh? Oh, and also, Matt indicated on the phone that he was in business over 20 years, his website says 15.
ATTENTION ALL NEW JERSEY FOLKS OUT THERE. Matt also went on to ask where we are from. When we stated "New Jersey" he stated "of course". Am I detecting a little prejudice on Matt's part. I'm NJ born and raised and proud of it. How about you? read more
