The people here have a nasty attitude and had the audacity to bang on our window and we had to go back through the car washer again because the lady with the nasty attitude didn't do it right. On top of that she was laughing and acting like we were at fault for something she did. They didn't even bother talking to us just bang on our window. Anyways don't come here and waste ur money here. They are so unprofessional read more

Like to come to this place because it's close to my gym. They usually have pretty quick service. The guy behind the counter is a smooth talker, LOL. When you leave you be then bought everything! I always like to say OK stop let's start at the beginning what is the first wash package. I usually get the second one which ever one that is. Are used to pay 1999 a month for Mr. car wash, I don't want you to think for a second that I didn't enjoy the place, but with the modifications I've made to my vehicle I am unable to continue to go through a motorized wash detail place. The coffee is always hot, the music is always good, but just remember you are in River Oaks the price will shoot up so quick you won't know what hit you, LOL. I love the place, and although I'm just joking, I would go there in a heartbeat. They always do a really good job I've only had to fuss at them once for putting wet floor mats back in my car and since then they've done an excellent job. read more

Shine Express Carwash - My baby looking clean - Car Wash Near Me - Arlington, Texas

This car wash has been completely updated. They have added several self-service cleaning "stalls" with two vacuum hoses per stall--and they are powerful! The car wash itself has a new look inside and the brushes do a fantastic job of cleaning. The air blowers are so strong they almost completely dry your car before you exit. They no longer have the guys at the end who wipe off the excess water, but as I said, the blowers are so strong, the guy aren't needed as badly as they were before. I was super pleased with how wonderful my car looked! Good update, guys! read more

If you're happy with gathering the vacuum and sticking the hose back together and spending more time repairing the equipment as you use it then this place is for you. I do not recommend pulling into this establishment. What a waste of my time and money. No help, no service, no refund. Forget it. read more

See all

You get what you pay for its not the best but if you can write your name in your car than something is better than nothing. I got the tire shine a few times but the guys at the end are so rushed they don't do it right. They also barely dry your car but like I said you get what you pay for my car is dirty and I'm lazy today so there you have it instant half assed wash!!! read more

Shine Express Carwash - Main wash tunnel thingy - Car Wash Near Me - Arlington, Texas

I always bring my car here and I always have a pleasant experience. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for the place. I feel like it's just one of those businesses that people won't bother to post a review for unless they're driven to complain. They have free vacuums for customers that will be going through the wash ($3 if you're just using the vacuums). The sign says there's a 3 minute limit but I always take 10-15+ and I've never been told anything. The vacuums are always super strong and I'm never struggling to get the floor debris out of my car. I also always sit for a few minutes to wipe down my car interior. I might as well if I'm already vacuuming and cleaning it and then I can just toss the cleaning wipes etc. into the trash bins which are always nearly empty because they obviously empty them regularly. The drive-thru wash is pretty good. I don't know what other people expect from an automated cleaning system but it's really affordable and my car always sparkles after. When I get the wheel treatment, they don't take a ton of time to get it done but, for $10 total for the whole wash, I'm not expecting perfection. I did hold back one star because, after this visit, the very top center of my roof still had a small but noticeable dirt streak that the machines either missed or couldn't reach, which is semi annoying but I won't lose sleep over it. That doesn't always happen, so I'm not sure what was different this round. All-in-all, this is my favorite place to go for regular car washing. The location is relatively small and very well-kept, the crew is nice enough and my car is clean in the end which is what I came for. read more

During my visit on 07/06 I purchased the Silver wash and let me start off by saying that when u pull up you notice multiple vacuum stations which should be a good sign. When I was done washing my truck I went to vacuum it and as I was doing that I noticed that they're were still a few spots that looked dirty. I thought to myself well when I get done vacuuming my vehicle I should go back and ask the manager if I could run my vehicle one more time to get it cleaned up. When I got to go to fries and I explained to the manager that my vehicle was still not sure what I expected it to be and they are the people next to me were planning their vehicles in their first film on m when I got to go to fries and I explained to the manager that my vehicle was still not sure what I expected it to be and if i could run my vehicle is one again. She responded with no I would not be able to re-wash the vehicle he said it was just a bit of dust and that he could redo my windows but that was it. I explained that while I was vacuuming my truck both the ppl next to me were dusting off their mats in the air and that's how the dust got on my vehicle . He said yeah but that's not the car washes fault I said I know is not mine either I just paid for a service and I'm unsatisfied I'm not asking for a refund I just want to run my vehicle to get it cleaned up he responded with the fact that the car wash was not responsible for this issue. I asked for the district managers and he denied me the information I asked for the owners info and he also denied me with that he only provided me with the car wash numbers which is (8) 200-2585. I just believe in putting clients needs first and I know my needs were not met. read more

Um....they don't have a cash machine here like you could just buy the car wash yourself so there's a guy. And that guy is very pushy...I paid extra two dollars to shut him up because he kept pressuring me in buying the $5 or $8. Look dude, I dont care what you recommend....ITS A RECOMMENDATION NOT A MANDATORY, GET IT?? I almost reverse and go down to goo goo car wash down cooper where I normally wash my car! it's $6 but there's free vacuum and there's no pushy salesman. HOW RUDE! I only need water to splash on my car to get some leaves off. I don't drive a fancy car so I could care less! read more

I came to this car wash on May 4th. They broke the side mirror off of my car and refuse to fix it! It was their faulty machines that broke my mirror. I will definitely not be coming back to this car wash! Avoid this car wash and find one that will accept responsibility for their dysfunction. read more

3rd time in last three months car not clean. Asked if they mind to at least get bugs off windshield, and advised that's extra. Told employee if can't at least clean windshield , that I wouldn't be back and he advised that would be OK. Went and advised manager inside how his employee felt about his customers, and that didn't seem to bother him. DONT WASTE Your MONEY HERE. LIES, DECEIT, VERY MISLEADING, AND FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! So the owner of this place should probably have someone else in charge instead of Moises, be cause he is a HOT MESS!!! He lacks, proper customer service skills, and the skills necessary to resolve simple issues. He compared Jack in the Box Ketchup to Air Freshener. YES!!! I'm serious! I paid for the monthly 19.99 wash and the sales person used the air freshener as a selling point. So after washing my car FIVE TIMES with no air freshener, and me stopping by the store to buy my own (even though I paid for it here and I was told it was included in the service) I said "geeez you guys could at least upgrade me from Silver to gold this one time," ($2) "this is the fifth time Ive been here and I didn't receive the COMPLETE package." Moises actually had the nerve to say "Well it's complementary" I said well I'm looking at your sales board and IT DOES NOT SAY ITS COMPLEMENTARY and why on earth would you use it as a selling point if its not included? He then says "If you go to Jack in the Box they will not give you anything for free if they run out of Ketchup" Ummmm??? WHAT?? If you lack the brain power to know that Yes ketchup is free I can walk into just about any fast food place and get ketchup and if they're out I can go to 100 other places and get it for FREE!!! I DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING! But I CANNOT JUST DRIVE UP AND TAKE AIR FRESHENER CAUSE IT AIN'T FREE YOU IGNORAMUS! There is some sort of prerequisite/ stipulation that I must meet in order to receive this "complementary freshener" so don't make yourself look absurd comparing it to FREE ketchup. All of this over a $2 upgrade??? The issue is not about the upgrade. It was the fact that you don't tell someone you're going to do something or offer a service but fail to do so, and after that person is kind enough to blow it off and be understanding to your circumstance four times you say "I don't have to do it, its complementary be happy with what you're getting" Excuse me???? You're being rude because you have FALSE ADVERTISING, and have fallen short on YOUR PART? If you don't like your job go somewhere else (Maybe Jack in the Box). Don't stand around making asinine comparison's and holding up the line because you want to play a game of I'm not wrong don't blame me it's not my fault. MY ADVICE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE UNLESS YOU KNOW THEY ARE PREPARED TO MAKE GOOD ON THEIR WORD!! read more

I just had the worst experience at Shine Express Car Wash N Arlington, TX. I have been going to this car wash for years and never had a problem until the new management showed up. I've noticed a few times the new owner , which is a Caucasian woman, wasn't very friendly and she had a condescending tone that I took notice to, but I didn't say anything to her about it. On 6/14/2020 at around 4:50 pm I went to get my car washed. As I entered the drive through a car wash attendant told me to come up, get on the belt and put my car in neutral. I followed his instructions and maybe a minute later I noticed his facial expression in my review mirror and he seemed a bit confused. We both noticed as I was going through, the machine poured out some soap on my car, but nothing else was happening. A few of the car wash attendants held back the machine and told me to drive through and out so my car didn't get washed. Another car wash attended told me to go back through to see if it would work the second time and it didn't. Afterwards they apologized that it wasn't working and told me to come back around and they will let the owner know what happened and she would be able to help me. I came back around and saw the owner, but I noticed she saw me, but she kept assisting other cars that came after me on the other side before she finally came to me. When she did I let my window down thinking she was going to apologize about the machine not working at that time and just refund my money. Instead she yelled at me and told me I shouldn't have drove through the car wash twice because she didn't give me a number to go through again. Mind you, the soap pretty much washed off the number she put on my windshield the first time and I still had my receipt hanging on my windshield so they knew I paid and knew what kind of wash I needed. She also started yelling and blaming me for her machine not working because I was on my phone. She said when I pulled up to pay her she noticed I was on my speaker phone in my car and that's is why the machine wasn't working. She also said that I shouldn't been able to drive through and come out without a wash because she knows how her machine operates and I should not have been able to so. She basically yelled at me and blamed me for the dysfunction of her machine. She proceeded to yell and said she is giving me my money back and to never come back to her car wash again. Seriously! Do you think after this horrible customer service I received today I wanted to come back and give you my money for your poor service. NO! I think not. She looked at me as she started calling the police on her phone and said "Bye Felicia"! She was very rude and disrespectful. I pulled over to the side because I wanted to talk to the police about about how she treated me as a customer. I had nothing to hide. I spoke to the police and they heard her side and my side of what happened separately. Afterwards the police suggested to not come back to that establishment. They were very helpful and understanding. I felt this was not the first time they have encounter her rudeness and how she deals with people. I heard from someone that there has been many issues regarding how she treated other people of other races in the past and this was not the first time this has happened under her management. Her husband came out yelling at me a few moments later telling me to leave and he was very disrespectful also. I kept my composer as much as I could. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by anyone in my life until today. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR WASH TO ANYONE!!! read more

This is the worst car wash every. I paid 14 bucks just for a light water wash and 1 time soap on my car. Never come back here

Horrible service detailing is horrible don't waist your money I went up the street. The manager worked k my car and didn't even clean the sides of the backseat and I paid for a whole row to be detailed. Then all the manager could do was laugh. I was very insulted and will not be returning don't be a victim. Thank God there was a paisley car wash up the street read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It's a shame the employee's are running down this car wash. Not only do the look trashy, but they are also very rude. Also attempted to contact the manager, but they won't pickup the phone. The website has no contact info or any type complaints button to let the owner know what's going on with the business. They had the cones blocking 75% of the driveway they other day, which I saw several cars turn and leave because they could not get in the driveway. PLEASE FIX YOUR EMPLOYEES BEFORE THEY WRECK YOUR COMPANY. ****Easy Fix**** read more

This was my favorite car wash to go to, until one day the man drying my car broke off part of my windshield wiper and scratched my hood with it. I called several times that day and left messages, nobody returned my call. The next day I called first thing in the morning and was told that they would not be able to do anything about it because I didn't tell them the day it happened. I told them how many times I tried to call and how many messages I left, the response I received was that they were outside washing cars. Well it is a car wash, I would hope they were outside washing cars!! No excuse for not designating a person to have a phone on them. They should take responsibility for their actions. At the very least they could have apologized to a loyal customer, and have a talk with their employee about being more careful. They did not make me feel valued as a customer at all. I will be canceling my monthly plan I'm taking my business somewhere that is more careful and values their customers. read more

Was a member here for two months. Today I came and pulled in for my car wash. The guy continued to help people in the other lane. He said they were new customers so he had to help them first. You have to come to this place regularly because it takes two times to get the bugs off your windshield. Not worth the money of a membership. Canceling membership. There's plenty of carwashes around that have good service. But not this one. read more

I really like this car wash. They have a great price on car washes. $5 is the cheapest. The staff is always friendly. My car comes out super clean. I would recommend this location, no doubt. I see on their website you can give gift cards too. read more

This place sucks. This is the second time I've come and they say they can't do a full service wash. Like really, the only thing you can do is run the car through a manual car wash where you don't have to do any work. It does everything for you. why would you think that people come to shine if they wouldn't want a full service wash? I can go anywhere and have my car ran through a machine. read more
