I'm in a rental car and own two accounts and kindly ask a corporate manager on location today to allow me access my account to get the rental washed and he rudely denied me access so I had to pay $15 for a wash! On Sunday March 2nd around noon, I got a call from my wife because she went to Shine Car Wash (Now under RaceWay Express) located at 1530 W. Pleasant Run Rd, Lancaster, TX 75146, to have her car washed because that's where our Membership has been the last 3 years. This particular day she was in line behind a black Dodge Ram (pictured in the photos) and for some reason the car wash operator did not check and or make the driver remove all of the items from his truck bed. I've been using this place a for a while and it is their policy that ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM YOUR TRUCK BED, but for some reason the Dodge Ram driver was allowed to go thru the wash tunnel with items still in his truck bed. Once he went in and the wash began, the moving parts from the car wash connected with one of the metal items left in his bed (picture included of items) and was thrown back at my wife's car causing a significant amount of damage. You can see in the pictures the damage that was caused, what you can't see is that the windshield is busted down the side under the trim that was broken. What makes this incident even worse is that when I arrived to speak to the manager (that goes by the name J.C) that was on duty at the time of the incident, he wouldn't even come out the building because he said "he was on lunch break" so he sent someone else out that wasn't even on duty at the time of the incident. I made it through the car wash at 6:25 on a Sunday evening. I see 2 gentlemen drying cars. One finishes a Lexus, then starts on a Yukon. The other just leaves to help the rest of the team close up. I'm left waiting over 15 minutes to get my car dried. I usually don't mind waiting but at this point I have water marks all over my car. This has never happened before but as a paying customer, this is so disappointing. The one gentleman that did dry my car tried his best and appreciate him trying. Unacceptable. read more

Raceway Car Wash bought them out and now only offers the tire scrub, towel down, and some other services that they used to offer with every tier, with only the $40 top tier now. It feels like a cash grab and it hurts their employees that will have fewer tips with fewer cars getting a towel down. It's a sad day and this should be rectified. read more

Went there cause it was close to home, never again. I paid $18 for the outside to get dried and wheels cleaned and this guy came out like I was bothering him. He walked around with a towel acting like he didn't want to be there finished in 2 minutes and told me he was done. I got off my truck and checked and he didn't even clean the wheels I know he saw them when applying the armor all I had to tell him to clean the wheels. I also told him I would do them. I grabbed a towel to clean and he told me those weren't the towels for wheels and went on to clean the wheels. On my left was a Mercedes and the guy there was cleaning the wheels with the same towel he was using to dry the car. Bad customer service, bad attitude, I wish I could have fired him sorry he has to settle for that job maybe he should've finished school. Won't be going back. read more

the man at the end drying my car was super sweet told me the back of my car was still very dirty and it was better if i just went back and gave it another go he got me off and showed me and it was it was really bad like it hadn't been washed at all so he told me to let the manager know and as soon as i opened the door to tell the manager he told me "no , that's his job to clean it " keep in mind my car was being dried i would've said and made a big deal but my daughter was in the car sleeping super rude to me and the guy i tried calling right know to report him send me to voicemail i hope this isn't the way he treats his other employees because all he told me was to ask him to get it sprayed again just to get the dirt off and told him it was job as a manager my self i would not treat my employees this way but i guess this is just me . read more

I paid for the membership. The washes are fine and because I was at least once a week I felt the membership was a better deal however some days it's closed at times it should be open which defeats the purpose of the unlimited pass. I also drive 14 mins to get there so it consequently becomes a waste of my time and drive. read more

My experience at this car wash today was extremely unpleasant. Upon exiting the wash I was greeted by a worker who was sagging his pants. He was bent over, drying off another car with his boxers in plain sight. I parked my car and waited for my vehicle to be dried off. He did not greet me whatsoever. He put a towel on top of my car, and walked away. He returned with another worker who knocked on my window. He did not have a mask on, and was extremely close to my face. He stated: "You got the $6.00 wash, that's why I put the tape on your car, we don't dry those." I replied "I've been here numerous times. I always get the $6.00 wash and I always get my car dried after." He replied: "IDK, we're not supposed to dry those." (Mind you, the gentleman sagging his pants, has dried my car on multiple occasions, with the tape on my vehicle (as well as multiple other workers), and never said a word about drying not being included. The first time I came here, I even gave him a cash tip, which he did not thank me for or address. He simply took the money, looked at me, and walked away) Despite this, a lot of the vacuums either don't work, or the suction power is extremely low, making it hard to thoroughly clean your vehicle. Also, today when I vacuumed my vehicle, there were multiple stations blocked off by cones, making it impossible to social distance. I've been to this location at least 10 times, and it's always subpar, basic service. I strictly come here due to convenience. However after my experience today, I will never return to this establishment. The customer service is severely lacking here. read more

Trash, help button doesn't do anything, and the monthly pass doesn't work. To top it all off, no one is here at the moment 3:41 pm March 9th 2020. Would not recommend to anyone. And to top things off, this guy actually called me to berate me about his location manager being in ICU as if to excuse the behavior of the employee that I interacted with today. I went in to Shine Car wash last week. While in the wash my windshield wiper blades were pulled out by the hanging device. They were able to find one but not the other. The Manager Joseph, assured me that everything would be taken care of, took my info and gave me the info for their corporate(which is really just a run around #) and told me that they would be in touch. A couple of days go by and I heard nothing from the manager or corporate or the owner, Carl Fleming. So I stop by and Manager Joseph, apologizes and tells me that the Owner, Carl Fleming, was going to personally take care of the incident himself. They continued to give the run around saying they were looking for the other blade down under the trenches, bs. Still never heard from them, I went ahead and went to Mercedes and had to pay for new blades ($65) that the manager assured me they were taking care of them. I took my receipt over to the carwash and he supposedly made a copy and sent it over to Owner Carl at corporate but still never heard back from them. Left several messages and still no call back. Today, a week later I call again to corporate and spoke to Tonya who answers the phone and told her if I didn't hear back today, that I would be reviewing them on social media. I immediately get a call while I'm still on the phone with her from manager Joseph who tells me that he is sorry and should not have told me that were going to take care of it and owner Carl said they are not responsible for it despite what he told me. Owner Carl is a coward who never even took the time to even provide a courtesy call back after being assured that he would. Needless to say that I won't be going back and don't advise you to either because of the poor customer service that I received, not to mentioned the fact that my wheels were half cleaned. Carl wins the award for worst customer service for a business owner and he had the manager do his dirty work. If only you could have heard Manager Joseph on the phone stuttering when he called to deliver Carl's message, he knew that it was wrong but had to do it anyway. I will be letting any and every one that I know to not use this carwash. I'm going to check out the new one down the street in Desoto. Not to metion that my wheels were still dirty after the wash and wipe down. Worst place ever! Don't waste your time or money here! read more

Shine Car Wash in Lancaster hired a General Contractor, Summit Construction to do the construction of the car wash. The General Contractor did not pay the subcontractors. Subsequently, the subs are now suing the GC for their money. A letter was sent to the GC and to the owner of Shine Car Wash. Neither the owner nor the GC ever responded to the letter. I also posted on the Car Wash's Facebook page. I received a message through Facebook from the Shine Car Wash owner, threatening to sue me for defamation if I didn't remove the post. I asked him why he never responded to the letter he was sent. He said he paid the GC and that I needed to remove the post. I said why don't you tell your deadbeat contractor to pay us. Instead of helping us sue his GC, he threatened to sue me. It appears he has now removed my post. read more
