They have help that talks behind patients backs! Not professional at all! They bait and switch, by offering one treatment and switching to another at a staggering cost! I appreciated that he also saved me a large sum of money by going the extra mile to save a tooth instead of having a root canal and crown at this time. Horrible service No communication My wife had a root canal done and ended up having to go back right before closing because she was in excruciating pain due to them not removing all of what needed to be removed. Then go back to have everything finished today and was told all she had to pay was 450$ and they do the work and when there finished tried making her pay 1500. Temp crown looks horrible. Would never ever recommend these people to anyone. Trying to get money like that out of someone after telling them it was way less crazy to me. read more

Just like everyone else, I absolutely dreaded going to the dentist. I can't say this anymore since I started going to Shimmering Dental. Starting with the front desk and office staff, they're all very kind, compassionate and professional. They're extremely good at their jobs of scheduling appointments, getting insurance approvals, etc. The dental assistants are also very kind and caring as well. Both Dr Thomas and Dr Vidale are very kind, caring, and extremely good at dentistry. I had some complications, not at all their fault, but when I called and said I was having problems, they got me in immediately and treated the problem. I'm no longer having feelings of dread when I have a dental appointment. Shimmering Dental is everything I want in a dental practice. read more

My mom is a client there and she is very happy. The office is always neat and clean. The staff is always pleasant. The problem? I want to be a client there. Their website says they take Deltacare USA insurance. When you call they are adamant that they do not take that insurance. They also say that it has been a while since they have. I explained that their website says they do. They said that they needed to check their site then because it has been quite a while since they took that insurance. The company needs to check their site. Deltacare USA's site sent me there too. read more

Called to make an appointment for a cleaning and possibly needing a old filling repaired. The lady who answered said I would need to pay $75 for a new patient consultation with X-rays. No problem. I show up on time for my first appointment and the ladies at the front were not friendly whatsoever. I asked to confirm that after doing the new patient consultation I would be getting a cleaning (the whole reason for booking my appointment) and they said no I would have to come back? I explained that I took time off work to come for my appointment and they said they did not care and that there was no exceptions. This was a terrible first impression and I left immediately. I'll be seeking my dental care elsewhere to a facility that values peoples time as they do their own! read more

Dr. Vellis truly makes going to the dentist a stress free experience. He's very easy to talk to and ready to answer all questions. Not only is he fantastic, but his staff and office building are superb. Each patient chair has its own TV which makes the experience much more enjoyable and allows your mind to focus on something else besides being at the "dreaded dentist" office.
