A little over a year ago, the first review of ShieldTec was posted, and since then, nearly 20k miles have been completed with the Jeep. Having the PPF installed was indeed one of the best decisions that could have been made, and it's honestly paid for itself several times over in the protection it's provided. From road debris, inconsiderate people, and the brushing of bushes on trails to the rocks on gravel roads, it's crazy how well the PPF has performed and held up. I genuinely recommend it! The installation of the PPF by YuTun, true to the first review, still has the Jeep looking brand new and its paint well protected! Sadly, this is where the praises of ShieldTec ends. Though super communicative and reachable from consultation through installation, in my experience, that ends shortly after that. Despite YuTuns claims of a lifetime warranty on the service, promises of if there's anything wrong, bring it in for repairs, etc. For over six months, over and over, I've been trying to schedule with YuTon a time to have several repairs completed, peel-ups, rock cuts, and to pay to have the back 25% of the Jeep covered in PPF. From YuTons promises to get back to me, to tentative drop-off dates, never following through, to pretty much ghosting me... With spending $4,000 on PPF with ShieldTec and the plans to hire YuTon to complete the remaining 25%, the experienced service and promises of support aren't very reassuring. I understand that he's a one-person shop; there are only so many hours in a week, but with over six months of trying to wrangle service? Proving a visit date and when it comes, pushing it out several months, repeatedly.. He takes pride in his work, and it's excellent; let me affirm that. However, if you're considering hiring ShieldTec to complete the wrap of your car, I hope you take a pause and consider other options, as there are other shops, larger and will provide follow up support. Happy customers refer, happy customers, create repeat business for those they wish to see do well. I can't in good conscious recommend ShieldTec to friends, nor will I be a repeat customer for other vehicles. YuTun is a master at his trade, affirmed, but still an apprentice in other and yet more critical areas.

Looking for someone that cares as much, if not more than you do with your car's paint? Look no further, YuTun is the guy! Yutun's attention to detail is second to none, he explained his entire process to me before I chose him, as someone who has some DIY experience, I can tell right away that he is someone I can trust. My truck had many swirls, it was embarrassing to say that it was a brand new vehicle. Yutun spent a week to get rid of them and applied PPF on my truck, updating me through phone and text on his process. And when I picked up the truck, he went through the entire truck with me explaining what he had done. I am very satisfied by his work and he is always responsive to calls/texts.

it is a one person business. But don't worry, you get very personalized service and all transactions are done professionally. Wait time slight longer but you can count on the quality you get. Price is also reasonable. If you are looking for cheap wrap service, this is not for you.

For the best paint protection products and services go to Shieldtec! Yu Tun is the best. My husband called around several places in the bay area when He was looking for PPF for his new Audi. Many places he called were short, did not explain the entire process to him, and basically gave him a sales pitch. Not Yu Tun, He talked with Yu Tun for at least 30 minutes. He explained the entire process to him, went over all his options, and really took the time to listen to his needs. I honestly couldn't believe someone was as detailed as My husband and as passionate about cars. Shorty after my Jeep GC for PPF and this week Yu Tun installed Xpel Ultimate full front on our new Toyota Rav4 Prime. Each time Yu Tun has was a pleasure to work with. Sent my husband texts throughout the process, was extremely detailed oriented and goes above and beyond. He even installed PPF on the back bumper where the tailgate opens at no extra charge! We highly recommended Shiekdtec when you want the absolute best at a reasonable price!

Lately, I was looking for a reasonable and nice body shop. Then I came across ShieldTec and was so impressed with their service! Yu-Tung Wang is the owner of this body shop and he was extremely helpful. He is so nice and accommodating to me at all times. Communication was excellent. So the things I wanted to do for my car were the following: - Front PPF (paint protection frame) - Ceramic coat and wrap for the entire car Everything was completed in 3 days and I love my brand new updated car! Thank you so much for your wonderful work, ShieldTec. I highly recommend this body shop, so everyone needs to check them out!! :)

ShieldTec provides excellent service and communication throughout the entire process of the services you request of them. Very pleased with the outcome of the PPF and Ceramic Pro on my car.

I took my 2019 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport and have the clear wrap done and he did a beautiful job and I am very satisfied, and I really recommend for doing a good job.

I picked up my tesla model y September 21st,I dropped my car off to tun, next day he found out the paint was too fresh and not cured yet,he recommended letting the paint cure,so he parked my car in a safe parking space so no accidents could happen,he waited for a week for the paint to cure,so much patience,he didn't rush the job, after painstakingly 2.5 weeks went to pick up my car I was in awe how it turned out!he went through my car with me telling me what he did and certain areas he said he didn't like the out ome, one, re-did the area

That was the case when I posted here on Yelp for the potential need for a wrap on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, because the clear coat was starting to come off in spots on the hood, roof, and rear spoiler. (I'm going to go into a lot of details below, but the short story is that based on my experience, you can trust the perfect 5-star rating for Clean Wrap Customs.) Jesus from Clean Wrap Customs was one of about 5 businesses to reach out. Based on cost and meeting my needs, Clean Wrap Customs and one other business were my 2 main options. Simply because the other business was closer to my house, I went there first. They also had essentially a perfect 5-star rating and actually had a few hundred reviews already more than Clean Wrap Customs, so I went there thinking they'd likely get my business. Within 30 minutes, however, something didn't feel right. Although they were upfront that their pricing could go up depending on what they saw when they got a closer look at my Cherokee, I was surprised that it went up by nearly 50% from the earlier estimates. I decided to pay a visit to Jesus, and the experience was much different. First, Jesus took the time to understand what I was asking for and why. Initially, I was looking to do a wrap for just where the clear coat was coming off. We tried to see if there was any vinyl that would be a match to the stock paint, but we couldn't find anything. So, we looked at options for a contrasting color. Jesus worked with us patiently, giving us virtual images of what different vinyl wraps would look like, but nothing was working for us. He even had a nearby paint shop vendor stop by to give us an estimate on redoing the clear coat/paint for the affected areas on my Cherokee. (He did this after we'd taken up nearly an hour of his time, essentially giving us the option of spending our money with another business.) In the end, we decided to have Jesus do a full wrap on the Cherokee...significantly more than we planned to spend initially, but we felt good with how Jesus handles his business and felt it would be money well-spent. (And at this point, we were starting to see how/why he had a 5-star rating.) The full wrap looks great on our Cherokee! Jesus even did a follow-up session after 2 weeks to take care of any bubbles or any other issues that may have come up since the initial installation. More than the craftsmanship, though, we were even more impressed with Jesus. When I first picked up the car, Jesus mentioned that he had to replace the windshield washer nozzles, because they broke when he removed them to install the wrap. Also, before I drove away, I noticed that the powered driver's side mirror wasn't working properly; it's possible some debris may have gotten into the mechanism and caused it to break the first time I tried to adjust the mirror. Now, given that this is a 12-1/2 year old vehicle that has spent most of its life sitting outside in the elements, either of those things could easily have been blamed on wear-and-tear. Jesus, however, replaced everything at no cost to me. I even offered to pay half for replacing the mirror, but he would have none of it. This is not just an honest businessman but someone who wants to do right by his customers! If you're considering a wrap for your vehicle, Jesus and Clean Wrap Customs gets my highest recommendation. I'm also considering taking my Jeep Wrangler for him to add ceramic tint in the near future.

If you own a Tesla or any high-end car and care about quality, this is absolutely the place to go. Joe, the owner, is always welcoming and clearly pours his passion into the business. You can tell immediately how much he values his team. He treats his staff like family, and it shows in their work. Everyone there genuinely enjoys what they do, and they really do live up to the "OCD" name when it comes to attention to detail. I learned the hard way that not all highly rated Yelp shops deliver real quality. After going to another popular place, a friend pointed out several issues in the work that I had completely missed. Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. The only downside is that I live in San Francisco, so the drive is a bit out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I recommend OCD Detailing to all my friends whenever they're looking for high-quality PPF or tinting. If you care about your car, this is where you take it.

The quality of everything was excellent, from the customer service to the actual work done! At other car-related companies that are male-dominated, I have experienced patronizing and borderline insulting service. At OCDetailing, they treated me like a normal/valuable customer. I hadn't read reviews in advance, so I was pleasantly surprised that they ordered and paid for my Uber. This place is expensive, and there is a weeks-long wait to get work done, but they will not settle for anything less than perfection. They even scheduled a follow-up appointment to check their work. The 5 stars are well earned!
