Very rudely answers the phone and turns away new customers. Take your business elsewhere, he apparently isn't accepting any new patients.

I brought in my formerly feral cat after an extreme allergy flare-up overnight that left him with severe facial injuries. After a poor experience elsewhere, I was incredibly anxious and scared that I would be judged for the state of his condition. My experience at Ranchwood was the exact opposite. Why they stand out: * Urgency & Compassion: Despite it being right before a major holiday, the staff worked us in the same afternoon. They treated us with nothing but warmth from the moment we walked in. * Judgment-Free Care: I never once felt like a "bad cat mom." The entire team acted as our partners, making it clear that our cat's recovery was a common goal. * Expert Clarity: Our veterinarian Dr. Davis was phenomenal. She came up with a treatment plan that replaced my panic with confidence. One of the biggest reliefs was her realistic approach: she explained that we don't necessarily need to identify every single allergen right now; we just need to be equipped to control his reaction. * Thorough Education: Because his treatment included multiple medications (including a steroid taper), I appreciated how thorough the staff was in explaining the nuances of his dosages. I left feeling fully capable of managing his care at home. It is such a relief to find a team that is as knowledgeable as they are kind. We have officially found our lifelong vet and will be bringing the rest of our cats here from now on.

I will be forever grateful. When I showed up to pick up, I asked about options for payment. The lady went to ask about reducing some going home meds and I'm guessing thats where there was some confusion on what I was asking because the next thing I know the Dr storms out front, says "I hear you don't have my money to pay me." Pacing and berating and belittling me bc I had to ask about a payment plan and how he told me not to save my other dog if I couldn't afford it. I will be forever grateful for the man and had planned to use them as our vets from now on but that won't happen when you talk to customers that way. The wonderfully nice lady apologized for him when I check out. I was still planning to thank the man for what he did but he didn't come back out.

They had put him to sleep to treat him 3 times during his treatment and charged us a little over $2,000.00. Silverleaf not only cleaned his wounds on his body, his ear and also vaccinated him for $179.00 and my dog loved Dr. Floyd. My dog don't trust anyone. Everyone calls my dog a butthole because his anxiety is so bad but he melted like butter in Dr Floyd's hands. Thank you Dr. Floyd for taking care of my fur baby.

They put her on a special diet and I've been buying the food from Silver Leaf. Silver Leaf knows that she's the neighborhood kitty and that I had to trap her to get her into the vets the first time. After 6 months they wouldn't sell me any more food or give me a prescription for it unless I brought her back in. I paid over 650$ when I brought her in the last time and the bag of cat food was 30$ a bag. I couldn't afford to take her back in. Plus I could tell she was much better being on this prescribed cat food. I begged and pleaded with them but they still wouldn't help me. This is all about the money. I've been using this vet since the 70's but I will NEVER use them again. They are heartless. I'm a senior citizen and I just don't have any extra money for another vet visit. The neighbors are kind to the cat but they're not going to help with any expenses. If you want a vet that really cares about your animal then you need to find another vet.

When I inquired about fees, I found a range from $300-$800. In contrast, Spayxperts, in Moore, shows their fees on their website. They are very reasonable! We scheduled an exam with Dr. Boyer, and a blood test in advance of the cleaning appointment, to be sure that her organs were healthy. They told us in advance the fees for both, which I appreciated. Dr Boyer verified her good health and answered my questions about the anesthesia and procedure. He followed up after the blood test results by email. He sent us home with antibiotics for her to start 2 days in advance of the cleaning. All assistants that we have met are very friendly, very helpful, very professional, and never seeming rushed. They reserve Wednesdays for only teeth cleaning. Their process on Wednesdays is very organized on intake, procedure, and pickup. Everything went very well! The assistant explained the use of pain meds, antibiotics and the recovery care, before bringing my dog out. I was very pleased with the very professional and friendly care that our dog and we received from Dr. Boyer and his staff at Spayxperts. I highly recommend them!!! **Dr. Boyer proves that you can get "excellent" veterinary care, and not have to pay high or excessive rates!** P.S. They also do spaying, neutering, and vaccinations at very reasonable cost.

I found out too late on my visit last year. I had read about 3yr rabies shots online but I only remembered to ask after my dog was treated. I told myself not to forget the next time. On Friday July 17th around 3, I called there to make sure they were open, but no answer. I called 3 times but no answer. I went ahead and drove by, right after my third call and was surprised to see they were open; with no customers and two women sitting at the front desk, a third close by. I wondered why they hadn't answered. I couldn't remember when exactly my dog had gotten her last shot so I asked them to look her up. (I have four dogs and four cats-so I can't remember exactly when they all get their shots.) One woman looked at the computer and said "August". And I said "Is it too early to get the next one?" And without answering she just handed me the paperwork to complete. Before I had my paper work completed, a girl took my dog back to start treatment. In what was seriously one to two minutes, I remembered the 3yr rabies, so I said, "Oh, Can I get the 3yr rabies?" The older lady said "too late now" and smirked; and the lady next to her also smirked, like they thought that was funny. I told them it's real funny that they trick people by not putting three year shot as an option on the form. I called the Vetsense clinic attached to this clinic to see if I could speak to the manager, and she transferred me; but you guessed it, no answer. I called her back and she actually had to walk down there (on the sidewalk) to leave a message for the manager to call. And I got no call. Don't know who she gave the message to, but I bet it didn't make it to the manager. Never again. It isn't worth being treated like crap to continue to go here.
