Gord and I headed to Etienne Brule Park yesterday afternoon. We've never been to this park so it was fun to check it out. We headed up the Humber River and followed it to Dundas Street W. There are six dams and we saw salmon jumping in half of them. The changing leaves were gorgeous! Though we didn't see any salmon make it up and over, people were cheering and encourage the salmon. It was a fun afternoon and I'm glad we checked it out.

The park is in Oakville that kind of 1 hr from Toronto. The traffic today was not too bad, we followed GPS to a resident area that saying not able to access the park from there, we parked the car across the street, and walked along the trails. However, we walked about 30 mins, we got to a parking lot again that stating this one is the Lions Valley Parking Lot. That means the one we entered from was part of the park. But not the main entrance. Since we don't have too much time today, we couldn't finish the whole park visiting. If we can have a better sign to show the park from the difference entrance, that would be much better.

It was a chilly day, but the scenery didn't let me down. There's a long path to walk down, which is great if you're looking to get some extra steps in. Great place for plenty of fitness related activities, including walking, running, biking, and even yoga if you pull out a mat and enjoy your time at the park in-front of the entrance!
