A great convenience for us. 3) The kids not only learn karate, but discipline and responsibility: they clean the dojo together for instance. 4) The younger kids get to see the older kids lead classes. 5) Convenient location. His confidence & self esteem has blossomed & I am amazed at his discipline. Sifu goes out of his way to develop close relationships with his students & their families. We love the school gatherings... pumpkin carving contests at Halloween & the Christmas party is always tons of fun. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Sifu in his after school program this year, helping out with the kids & website issues & I can tell you that the time & attention he gives to these kids after school is just unmatched in any program I have seen. He is definitely a wonderful role model & I would trust him 100% with my son in any situation... & that is not something I take lightly.

On the property you'll find batting cages, a snack bar and public bathrooms, but they are not open except during game time. The rodeo arena looks as though it has not been used in a couple of years. Directly next to this park is the Lexington elementary school where you'll find some new play scapes. Parking unfortunately is in a gravely lot with no distinctive parking slots. It offers spaces for events, fitness, meetings, and outdoor activities. The senior activity center was the first city facility to permanently feature public art through Austin's Art in Public Places program. I was opened in 1988 as a $2.2 million city-funded project. The center is named in honor of community leaders Onie B. Conley and Roy G. Guerrero for their decades of service to Austin. Today, I took some vacation time to volunteer with our community service organization at Project Swag (Seniors with a Goal) hosted by the Conley-Guerrero center. Project Swag host workshops on health, finances, safety, voting and more. The seniors also do fun activities like line dancing and chair exercise. Our community service organization members donated gift cards as giveaway prizes. This is my fifth year volunteering at Project Swag. I believe we are blessed to be a blessing to others. It is so heartwarming how much these seniors appreciate Project Swag each year.

By nature I tend to be very skeptical of many places for my kids but so far I am very glad we found a great group of instructors especially considering they have a genuine interest in teaching and helping others in the community.
