You're a customer service representative for John Menard -- dealing professionally with customers is part of the job. Hopefully there won't be a next time, because after this experience I'd much rather spend my money with professionals at Home Depot. But if there is a next time, I can promise you I won't be calling him "sir." I came in needing help with landscaping stone. I wasn't sure exactly how much weight my trailer could safely hold, so yes, I bent the normal process a little while trying to figure it out. I wasn't trying to cause problems -- I was trying to safely purchase well over $600 worth of landscaping materials. Instead of anyone simply explaining the situation or helping me work through it, I was met with cold shoulders and treated like I was some kind of monster for not already knowing exactly how much stone the trailer could handle. Customer service doesn't mean every customer is going to know every rule or procedure before walking through the door. Sometimes people need help. That's literally the point. Robots can't come soon enough. They don't have egos, they can remain professional, and they don't let their emotions dictate how they treat paying customers. And don't get me wrong -- I'd probably be in a bad mood too if I were working on a holiday. But taking it out on customers who are simply asking for help isn't professional.

She offered tips and advice that saved me time in my projects. Gage was also amazing. I was struggling to get a wood stain to match my ceiling's current stain color. He put in extra work to ensure I had as close as possible stain. I am extremely satisfied. These two employees have helped me turn into a loyal Wisconsin Rapids Sherwin-Williams. DO NOT take consignment items to this shop. I have taken items there 3 times. Each time I had 5-6…read moreitems, seasonally appropriate, clean and spotless, recognizable quality brands of women's work type clothing in common sizes. I was never called to say the items were unacceptable and yet have never seen an item on the racks ( I checked at least every 3 weeks) nor has a single dime made it to my account. When I asked why that might be the clerk said they probably were too low quality to sell! I assure you they were carefully curated and were not low quality. When checking out purchases they are often rude and act like they are doing you a huge favor. In future, my items will go to the United Way Clothes Closet where I know they will be used for good purposes by people who can really benefit from them.
