My husband went to the store and asked for white paint. He asked them to help him match it to a picture they said would be difficult, but the picture was clearly white, NOT grey. They helped him to select a color. When we put it on the wall, the color was clearly grey. I took the unused wrong color back and they refused to replace it with white. They suggested I buy more of their overpriced paint. It is 2-4 times more than paint at Home Depot. My husband called to try and get some help. After refusing to help us the manager hung up on us. We tried to support a local business rather than a box store. That was a huge mistake. Stay away read more

Paid over $100 for 2 gallons of white paint in what they said was their best coverage. Not worth it. Painted over a few times and the light blue color is still coming through from underneath. I've gotten much better coverage from other paints and spent less. read more

I went to this store last Friday. Customers are not allowed in due to Covid. I gave the sales rep the Sherwin Williams color swatch that I wanted. He went in, mixed the paint and returned. The color that is now on my walls from those cans is Not the color on the swatch. I will call them tomorrow; however, I have a feeling I'll be told tough luck. I will post the results of that encounter. read more

Only went there once to color match two paints from cans used by previous owners but they both turned out slightly off. They told me they don't refund and didn't offer anything else. I will take my business elsewhere rather than take a second chance. Too bad because I'd like to support my local businesses. Nice looking store otherwise. read more

Then when they finally came, they picked the day where it rained the next day! They came (3 people) and started to pain on top of my old swelling and peeling paint without any prep work! Then they left a few hours later without letting us know what's going on. The spots they painted peeled right off and they wasted my paint they I supplied! I texted them to see what's going on and when they are back, they said not to worry they will be back because they need to get some primer to use because the paint kept peeling. And then they never get back to me! It's been weeks now! Wtf? It kept peeling because you don't peel and scrape the old paint that was swelling and bubbling .... I can't believe these people don't understand the basic principles of painting! I'm a nurse and I seem to have more painting knowledge than these people! During my visit, I consulted with a knowledgeable office assistant who confidently assured me that she could match all the necessary stones, including Ledgestones, Cap double-sided pieces, and Column stones.Recent Experience:Incomplete Delivery: When my contractor began work on the expansion project on June 6, 2026, he quickly realized that one essential item--the Cap Single-sided Split Face Large Ruby/Onyx--was missing from the delivery. Despite being listed on the receipt as included, this item was notably absent from the shipment. Poor Communication: I reached out to the owner to address this issue, and he informed me that Cambridge no longer produced that specific item.
