As well, they're willing to work with customers to create colors other that what is normally available. I recently asked to have a paint color tinted and they were able to do that for me. As well, when I needed to replace some siding on my house they were able to mix the paint to match what I had already. Really appreciate them being able to help with my upgrades/renovations.

I then recalled the paint used 11 years ago to paint it was from Hallman-Lindsay. Not friendly, zero interest in helping us and the man seemed annoyed the moment we walked in. I walked in there with NINE colors already picked out to paint my entire house interior. Between their higher end Hallman Lindsay line that I wanted to try and the Benjamin Moore Aura that I usually buy this paint order would have been over a thousand dollars worth of paint. I walked OUT because the man working there was so utterly bored and disinterested in doing his job. It's been a long time since I've experienced service this poor. I really want to do the right thing and support Wisconsin businesses and shop local but I wound up driving to Madison to a paint store that actually cares about my business.

Don't waste your time or money here. Poor customer service and poor quality, overpriced paint…read more I am repainting a new house, so I have been here several times with questions about paint and to sample and purchase some paint. During every visit, I have had to try and get help from an associate as they seem to either all be sitting in the back break area, or they don't volunteer to help. Each visit has left me with different answers from different associates. Foolishly, I ultimately purchased two gallons of their top of the line Emerald paint and was very disappointed not only with the poor and uneven coverage (after two coats on a clean, lightly textured, new drywall surface), but also with the color. I was told by an associate that I could not return the paint, but that they would replace it with a different color; when I went in with my unopened and unused gallon of paint to exchange for another color, the associates in the store said they don't do any such thing. Save yourself the trouble and try Ace Hardware instead. Their customer service is far superior, they have knowledgeable and helpful staff, and they have much better quality paints at a better price.
