They basically can't process anything until you have your prescription which is understood but you should be able to browse comfortably and ask questions if you want. The second time I went in, I was browsing before an appointment and it was like she was off put that I was browsing before my appointment next door. I didn't even feel comfortable browsing. after my appointment, I went back and chose the glasses that I had seen. At that point she helped me , but but she was not friendly at all.
