However, due to some work in living room I needed different paint. I took a chip and went to Hone Depot to match. Came back and touched up and it wasn't close. I looked at the kitchen paint and saw the sticker from Painters Express. So I tried there. Although it was a small chip, the gentleman worked with me for several minutes to try and find a match. We found one that appeared close. I went home and used it and it was an exact match. If you look hard enough, you can see a slight difference but that's expected with new batches of paint and one on a wall from a few years. Fast forward to this Sunday. I needed to do some touchup upstairs. I thought it was the same brown as kitchen so I used that extra paint. It wasn't. It was so noticeable and looked horrible. I went to Painter's Express with a bigger chip (cut a piece from laundry room behind the washer). The kid used it to come up with a few possibilities. He got all 5-6 swatches and compared. We found 1 that looked really close. He mixed it. Then he painted a little on the swatch and tried with a hair dryer. It was exact. I came home and used it on the needed spots and it's not noticeable. It's an exact match. By taking the time to find these two matches, Painters Express saved me time and money. Thank you!!!

I called Ricciardi and was fortunate enough to speak with Cliff Michaud, who was beyond kind and understanding. I wound up making two trips to the store for samples, and each time I went, I was treated with friendly kindness. I made my paint color decision and am pleased, but I'm also pleased with my treatment from all of the employees I interacted with at this store.

There is a reason his many customers are loyal to this day. He is undoubtedly the best paint color matcher in the tri-state area. His knowledge of old school methods and doing it the RIGHT way the first time is bar none what the paint industry has forgotten with their chain like mentality.
