We were having major issues with our RV - engine batteries had been recently replaced out of town,…read moreby someone other than Battery Outfitters. They were dead. The original company was talking about towing it, trying to get us loaner batteries to drive it to them, etc. I called Chris Anderson at Battery Outfitters in Golden, MO. Service above and beyond and then some does not come close to describing the service we received from him. He came out to where the RV was stored, tested, tried charging (back at the store) and eventually replaced the engine batteries. Checked on them a week later and made sure they were holding their charge and doing what they were supposed to be doing. We could not have asked for better, and can't recommend Chris and Battery Outfitters enough. They are awesome! Thank you so much.

Today I went in to ask for some duplicate receipts that I need for doing taxes. Ana has helped with this and other tasks in the past so I asked her if she could help me. Within a few seconds, she had the copies that I needed. I appreciated the help, but, even more than that, I appreciated the willingness to help that Ana displayed. Whereas some business employees either complain or show a bad attitude when asked for extra help, Ana was polite and efficient and seemed willing to go the extra mile. I definitely appreciated her, and I'm so glad to have this Ace Hardware store nearby.

I dislike having keys made that don't work, and even though they're usually remade for free, it's a hassle to drive back to the store. Well, that never happens at this Branson Ace Hardware. The keys work EVERY TIME. But, of course, there are many more reasons I shop at Ace Hardware. I love Magnolia paint that they stock. Lowe's used to carry it, but don't anymore. And they are one of the few places in the area to carry the half gallon size of Ball jars.

O'Reilly's provided a full refund for the 3rd replacement battery as it was possible to verify my transaction records, in their system, after all. The only person present was a woman stocking shelves. She never asked if we needed any help, and never got out of the way when we were examining shelves near her. This gave the impression that she would rather we not be near her... or even better... just leave the store. Wife and I eventually decided on 2 candles. I approached the cashier counter and placed two items there. The same woman from above first approached the register from elsewhere in the store... doing her stocking... scanned a candle in her hand... and left to go put it on a shelf somewhere when we wanted to check out. Eventually she said, "Ready to check-out?" "Well... obviously," is what I thought, since we were clearly obviously standing at the counter with items to purchase. Finally she had time for us, the only two customers in the store. We got good prices on candles... but make a self-checkout if customer service is intended to be non-existent. Come-on Yankee Candle.
