This is an update to my previous review of this company. Today is December 17 and approximately 4…read moreweeks ago my large sliding glass door was installed. However, the day before it was to be installed I received a contract from Plumline construction to either sign the contract for installation or they would not arrive the next day to install the door and the next installation date available would be in January. Plumline is supposedly a Meeks and Anderson approved installer. Plumline price to install this door was $7,000. When I enquired on how long it would take to install the door they said 6 to 7 hours with three men. I said that price did not seem right for that many men or that many hours work. There response was take it or leave it. The next day they showed up with one older gentlemen and two kids to install the door. They completed the installation and prior to me paying for the installation I video taped the operation of the door and found that it did not open and close properly and that when the wind blew the door rattled and buffeted. I asked the installed if this was normal and he said it was not. I immediately sent the video of this to my builder and Meeks that evening and requested Meeks and Anderson representative come and examine the door and correct problem. A week later someone from Meeks and Anderson I am told showed up to look at the door. As of today, I have no information on what is wrong with the door from Meeks or Anderson other than what my builder Schaeffer Mitchell indicated that the top track was ordered incorrectly and will need to be reordered and the entire door will need to be taken out and the top track taken out and a new track installed. Along with this Meeks failed to order the sloped exterior track for the bottom sill when they reordered the bottom track previously. This whole episode is a nightmare that just keeps getting worse due to the incompetence of Meeks. In the meantime my house will have to get torn open after the finishes and furniture has been installed. If you have a home and are considering Meeks go elsewhere and save yourself much time and anguish.

I hope to correct that error now. A shower in my house had been leaking behind a wall for months. I had no idea. when I found out, just before Thanksgiving, much damage had already been done, a total remodel had to be done, like right now. I wish I could say that I made all the right decisions, but no. I made a lot of mistakes. The Lowes employees whom I would like to recognize who were key factors in helping get me through this mess are: Carol, Candi, Frankie, Michelle, Anna B, Anna M, MJ, Jesus, Jane, Ted, Chris, and Chelsea. They helped me correct errors I made when I ordered wrong supplies, and or the right item but the wrong size. they helped me find screws, tile, paint, supplies to rebuild my shower, faucets, cabinets and much more. I paid for the initial supplies with a wrong account. Carol and Chelsea spent pains taking hours correcting my mistake so that I could pay with the correct account, which saved me a tremendous financial headache. My order was put through the bid room, which saved me $603.24. That does not account for many other discounts I received on supplies I bought latter. To all of you wonderful people named above, thank you for helping me in the damage repair and rebuild of my bathroom and for helping me correct the errors I made in the prosses. you guys are awesome! In March 2025, we purchased a Samsung refrigerator from the Lowe's in Hollister, MO. In November…read more2025--still well within the warranty period--the refrigerator stopped working. We soon discovered that there were no authorized Samsung repair technicians in our area, making it impossible to get the appliance serviced under warranty. I contacted the Lowe's appliance manager, Mitch, multiple times. During our first conversation, he appeared willing to assist. However, after that initial call, I received no follow-up whatsoever despite leaving several messages requesting a callback. To this day, we have not received a refund, a replacement, a service visit, or even a courtesy check‑in from Lowe's. Samsung has also been awful to deal with throughout this process. We will never purchase a Samsung refrigerator again. A company should not be selling products in major retailers if they cannot properly support or service them. If I could give a half‑star rating, I would. TERRIBLE customer service from both Lowe's and Samsung.
