Purchased Romabio Masonry from here for an unsealed/unpainted brick house. Did not cover in 2 coats…read morelike Romabio advertised. Did not even completely cover in 3 either :/ Romabio says I have to get a refund through Magnolia but Magnolia says it's our fault for not using primer even though Romabio says directly on the can and TDS no need for primer on unsealed/unpainted brick. Romabio agreed to give magnolia credit for the product but Christine said she wouldn't 'feel comfortable' giving us a refund for any amount. Christine lied to Romabio that she had warned us to use primer on our unsealed brick. I will never use Magnolia Paint again... Christine was not sympathetic that I was out over $2,000. She said she had to look out for her store even though Romabio agreed the product had not lived up to its description and I should be issued a refund. Same with their corporate manager Christy. She started the conversation by saying she didn't have much time for me even though I had just informed her that her store manager Christine had hung up on me. I also reached out to the owner and have not received a response. I attached a picture of the brick with 3 coats. As you can see, the finish is threadbare even though Romabio advertises their paint as a 2 coat, 'uniform', 'opaque' system with no need for primer on unsealed brick.

Over several years I painted the exterior of every building and every interior room on my farm so I got to know them well. It didn't matter if I was buying a paint brush or hundreds of $$ of paint, there was always great service and that's the way they treat everyone that comes through the door. And, they have spent countless hours with me helping to match paints and stains or altering colors of already-purchased paints that were not quite the color I wanted. Plus, they will maintain a record for you in their system of which room a certain paint color is used in. They can get busy sometimes and that results in a bit of a wait but that can happen anywhere. Don't buy paint from the "big box" stores when you've got such a great local resource.

Last year, I purchased a gallon of paint which turned out to be "battleship gray" for my kitchen cabinets. I decided I had to waste the gallon and get the correct color. I described to Mr. Merrill the shade of gray that I had in mind and the shade of gray that I didn't want and he walked over to the samples and picked out the exact color I had in mind. I went with it and my cabinets look great! He knows his paint and paint colors for sure. Amazing customer service!…read more I had found the Benjamin Moore paint color I wanted online and called ED's paint shop to see if they had it in stock. The owner answered my call and found the paint I needed in stock. He set it aside for me to pick up later. I came to the shop a few hours later. It looks very new inside. The shop is very clean, organized, and nice looking. There's hundreds, maybe thousands of paint colors to choose from. There are color swatches to help you find the perfect color. I purchased my Benjamin Moore Aura paint from E.D. which was even cheaper than the prices I saw online. E.D. himself was very helpful. He told me that if I ever needed more paint that I could call ahead, pay over the phone, and he could even bring it out to the car for me. Wow, that's customer service! I am very pleased with my experience at E.D.'s Paint Center and the Benjamin Moore paint I purchased looks great on my bathroom walls- it really made the difference. Now, I just need to get the motivation to paint more rooms in my house. I will definitely be coming back to ED's paint center.
