After making the decision to have them professionally framed, I didn't have long to wait to have them completed, maybe two weeks at the most. My husband now says this was the best decision. Bradford White representative Amy provided me with the correct part number to extend warranty out two years and four years. I provided City Plumbing sales counter the part number for the four year extended warranty because they did not offer the two year extension and I was quoted me $276 to extend my water heaters warranty four more years over manufacture warranty. I drove to City Plumbing today and the same part number to extend the warranty on my BW water heater by four years increased by $150. I asked Tim in counter sales why the same part number that I called about last week now costs more. He gave an answer but did not really explain the increase. I feel that the price of the warranty was marked up after the counter sales manager spoke to his BW representative for the Gainesville area. I did my due diligence and still ended up paying more than the estimate provided just a week earlier. Normally I have had not had any problems like this from City Plumbing. I'm curious as to what has changed in customer service to not stand behind pricing from a week before for identical product?

The only thing preventing this from being 5-stars is that the store was understaffed. When I arrived, there was only one poor employee there trying to help about 5 of us in line. When another employee came in early, the working employee expressed his thanks that he had come in early so he could help him. The second employee, realizing he was a few hours ahead of his shift time, just went into the back to hide from the line of customers instead of help. The employee working actually had to call him up to help, to which he initially responded that "he wasn't supposed to be there then." While I get that from the employee who arrived early's perspective, at this point you're already there and customers have seen you, so why not just clock in and help the large line that had formed (at no fault of the employee working)?

It has been in the community for approximately 20 years. While I browsed, my husband enjoyed speaking with the owner who is from the same state as my husband. This store carries interesting antiques and other furnishings. If you love the beauty of natural wood and furnishings with a history, you will enjoy this store. They carry dressers, chests, dining sets, china cabinets, chairs and more. Some of the pieces were huge and would only fit in a space with soaring ceilings, yet would definitely make a statement. The price point for several of the items were a bit shocking but I am not sure how much work may have gone into preparing the piece for resale. As long as we see a continued trend towards more modern furnishings of lesser quality, these types of stores will continue to thrive. When it comes to quality, price is sometimes irrelevant or at most secondary. I think the owner's favorite color must be green because he had hand painted his entire floor in green using a squeegie! It was very cool and creative. The one item that really caught my attention happened to be a little wooden chair that had a really cute design but also painted in a rich green color. So cute and definitely my favorite item in the store.
