And of course we were. He led us to the aisle where we found what we needed. A few moments later another man came by and asked if we needed help with anything? It had not even been 5 minutes. He explained they had a variety of things as they also take suggestions from shoppers for what to stock and he offered to order anything they didn't and let us know they have truck come twice a week! If you're looking for a local place to shop for the people in your life that like to fix things or for the teenage that's driving her first beater car, then look no further! Love this place.

I placed an online order and I received an email with instructions once it was ready for pick up…read more Clicked the link to pick it up as instructed when I was on my way, and on arrival called the phone number in the email to have the item brought out (offered in the email). The woman who answered gave a "thanks for calling Ace Hardware my name is ____." I said hi, I have an online order for pickup and told her what the item was and my name. Her exact response was "what about it"? I again said I'm just calling as the email instructed for pickup. She then says "well you gotta come in, duh". I asked about having it brought out as the instructions stated and she said " well you gotta sign so you gotta come in". Apparently the email gives customers bad instructions and rude cashiers get annoyed when you follow them. For the record, I bought a $420 lawnmower, not a $40 hammer. This is what supporting locally owned businesses gets you. Oh well, there's a Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware here....Home Depot is closer anyway.

Two weeks pass with services never being performed, it took about another two weeks to finally receive a refund. Waste of time and poor customer service. Highly advise to avoid this middle man company. I wasn't aware that after hiring them, they hire someone else to do the job which is why they kept delaying. After running out of excuses, they start ignoring your calls. If you decide to hire them anyway, keep in mind you are paying more to go through them, rather than hiring a painting company directly. There is literally no reason to use this company, they are both slower as well as more expensive since you are paying for the services to be performed from whatever company they hire, as well as their own commission. Again, HIGHLY recommend to AVOID! Edit: Calvin from CertaPro did reach out to me via phone after I posted my honest review. I did some more research after and was able to get in contact with one of the independent small painting businesses that CertaPro works with to complete jobs. They knew the salesperson that I was initially working with by name and said they have done multiple projects with them. I usually don't go this far to prove a point but I also don't like being accused of providing false information. Anyone that hires this company can simply talk to the painters that show up and ask themselves. I encourage anyone with a similar experience to write your own review.

Zero communication, subcontracted painting crews, poor quality work, empty promises, and overall miserable experience. I hired Certa Pro Painters of Northwest Florida to paint the entire interior and exterior of my home. After 1.5 - 2 months finalizing the schedule, the paint crew did not show up when they said they would. Once they started the interior, they worked at a snail's pace. Overall, the paint looks like I hired a group of 13-year-old kids to paint the house. At one point, when I wasn't home, Certa Pro added $1900 to the bill to paint a walk-in closet. (I was out of town -- so they stuck my wife with this one) Certa Pro's subcontracted painting crews did such an awful job, I don't want them to come back and fix what they failed to do right the first time. I'll be hiring someone else to fix the interior (including an entire bathroom, all quarter round, damaged paint from tape removal, and on-and-on. I have since cancelled Certa Pro from painting the exterior of the house. When I began asking for a refund, my phone calls were screened -- they would not answer calls from my phone. My wife had to call from her work number to get them to pick up the phone. Once the refund check was cut, Certa Pro docked the refund for the credit card transaction fees -- just another slap in the face. After waiting 30 minutes passed my scheduled appointment to pick up my refund check at the Certa Pro office, I spoke to the franchise co-owner (Summer). She had zero interest in hearing my reason for cancellation. Never once did she ask why I had a bad experience with her company. (I loved the sarcastic "have a wonderful day Mr. B") This review does not do justice for the incredibly terrible experience and the awful quality of work Certa Pro Painters of Northwest Florida provided. I'd be highly embarrassed to be a part of this company. Do not use Certa Pro Painters of Northwest Florida. Hire a local/non franchise company that does their own work and cares about the customer.

Associates are…read moregenerally very friendly, but sometimes have an "edge" to their voice - perhaps when they're understaffed or overworked or overwhelmed by the immense inventory and are expected to know where just about everything is located. (Good training program, but a lot is expected from employees.) My biggest "gripe" is the inconsistency in the flag-waving owner or corporate-local "Military Discount" policy. Many stores offer this only to active service vets. Some on holidays only. Others say retired vets are eligible. Still others say just for "some" vets....and in my case, my VA ID did not list my branch of service ... but it was issued by and is honored by the VA wherever I go....but not at HD. One Cashier said, it "has to say disabled." What? Inconsistency at best.

The time an attention to detail just to make sure everything was done perfectly! I got a quote from Rudy to assemble a 10x10 metal shed, They arrived at 8am and left that night at 9:15. We were not expecting each piece to have a protective film on it that took about an hr to peel of. Because of this the job took way longer than anticipated. Rudy and Katie being the fine business people they are insisted they wanted to still charge me the original price, But after the two of them spent 15 hrs assembling my shed to make sure it was done perfectly i paid more because it was the right thing to do.
