First off, the front desk team and consultation was not pressuring at all. It was very informative and was a clear process from the beginning. Also, the AviClear treatment here was ten times more affordable than any other place I consulted with and with almost no side effects compared to oral acne medication like Accutane. I've been struggling with acne since I was a teenager and finally found a solution! Nima was fantastic the entirety of the treatment regime and helped keep me comfortable the entire time. Within the first two weeks of the first treatment I started seeing clearing and continued seeing additional clearing through the treatment process. It takes a few months after the final (third) treatment for full effects to take place, but I'm already so happy with the results. I loved the office and Nima so much that I am now doing laser hair removal with them and that has also been a lovely process. I couldn't recommend Nima and the Sajjadian team more!

I sat in a room for 48 minutes waiting for the doctor to see me. Finally someone came in asked how I was doing and told me the doctor would be in shortly. I told them this was completely unacceptable and disrespectful of my time. If this is how they treat a patient who they've never met I cannot imagine the type of care that I would receive if I had actually gone through with any type of surgery. I am a reasonable human and if they had told me, the doctor was running late, or had checked on me 10 minutes after leaving me alone in the room to explain that something had suddenly come up , I would've been more forgiving. However, they had asked me simply to continue to wait after 48 minutes. Rude.

Dr. Chung is a colorectal surgeon who truly exemplifies what patient-centered care should be. First of all, I have never in my life called a doctor's office and had the actual doctor pick up the phone. Dr. Chung did just that this morning. It was a refreshing, almost unheard-of level of accessibility that immediately put me at ease. He doesn't take insurance, but his fee structure is transparent and fair. I came in with a very painful issue that was causing me a lot of discomfort and bleeding. Instead of having to navigate the maze of ER visits, PCP referrals, and urgent care waiting rooms, Dr. Chung got me in the same day. There was no one else in the waiting room, and the entire experience felt incredibly personal and unhurried. Dr. Chung explained everything to me in a way that was both humorous and approachable. He used lighthearted terms like "poop juice" and "butt stuff," which made an awkward situation feel completely embarrassment-free. He gave me a conservative treatment option, but I chose the in-office procedure, a quick removal right then and there. The only discomfort was the numbing shot (a brief 7 out of 10 on the pain scale), and after that, it was smooth sailing. Dr. Chung's practice feels like the perfect blend of old-fashioned, personal healthcare and a modern, welcoming office environment. He's a young, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth professional, probably in his 40s, who made me feel comfortable and heard. In short, I can't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for a compassionate, straightforward, and incredibly effective colorectal surgeon, this is how healthcare should be done. You'll be in excellent hands!

Dr. Albert Chung -- Truly Your Friendly Proctologist Dr…read more Albert Chung is not your ordinary surgeon. His approach to care is unlike anything I've ever experienced; compassionate, thorough, and refreshingly human. If you're expecting the standard, impersonal medical experience, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how different Dr. Chung's method is. After being bounced around between specialists for months and getting nowhere with my insurance, I began searching for answers online. That's when I discovered Your Friendly Proctologist, Dr. Chung. Reading his educational content made me realize I wasn't alone in dealing with my symptoms; and I started to truly understand this complex and rarely discussed condition. Because I live out of state, I initially met with Dr. Chung via an online consultation. I was considering surgery (a fistulotomy) but was anxious about post-op care and logistics. During three months of sheer pain, ER visits, and conflicting diagnoses from multiple doctors in Nevada, I was emotionally drained. One surgeon wanted to rush me into a sphincterotomy after a five-minute exam; another drained an abscess and told me to "check back in four weeks." I spent most of that time either lying down or in a sitz bath, getting worse by the day. When I learned that the standard fistulotomy aftercare typically involved just two short follow-up visits over several weeks, I knew that wasn't enough for me. Dr. Chung's emphasis on hands-on wound care and frequent communication made all the difference. My husband and I traveled to see Dr. Chung for an in-person consultation. His office is spotless, private, and welcoming. He truly runs a one-man operation, ensuring each patient has his full attention. We arrived early and he politely asked us to wait until he was finished with another patient; he values privacy that much. After evaluating me, Dr. Chung recommended surgery with at least two weeks of dedicated wound care. Although he does not take insurance and requires payment in full, we decided it was absolutely worth it for the quality of care I would receive. A week before surgery, we had a detailed Zoom meeting where he reviewed every aspect of preparation; prescriptions, diet, what to pack, and what to expect before and after the procedure. He left no question unanswered. The surgery center was clean and professional, and the staff were caring and attentive. Dr. Chung ultimately performed a seton placement, removed two hemorrhoids, and administered Botox injections instead of a full fistulotomy. Post-surgery, Dr. Chung's care went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. He called twice a day during my recovery week to check in, adjust pain medications, and make sure I was comfortable. He never rushed our conversations and always made me feel like his top priority. My husband was involved throughout the process, and Dr. Chung welcomed all his questions, too. Dr. Chung is far more than "Your Friendly Proctologist"; he's a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled surgeon who truly cares for his patients from start to finish. If you've exhausted your options, spent months battling insurance limitations, and still haven't found relief, I urge you to consider Dr. Chung. The investment in your health and peace of mind is worth every penny.
